Off the Boat is one of my favorite places to eat. I just have to get my wife past two of her favorites places to get there. The... battered cod fish taco has an airy, crispy, and oh so satisfying crunch. The textures come together so smooth and the cod isfresh, tasty. and flaky. I've also decided that I'm never going to post pictures of fully composed plates. Only half demolishedor completed food will be presented in my portrait. This is two "Catch of the a day" yellowtail tacos, a la carte. The salsabar is a fresh, simple array of sauces and toppings that are very easy to pick from. Fried fish batter had no flavor. The coleslaw was bland. Now their french fries were very flavorful.

OK, so looking at the restaurant description, it felt like a place that can't figure out it's kitchen. I see Mexican,... Mediterranean, Seafood, it's kind of across the board. I was a little nervous but tried to trust some of the reviews. What Ifound is a hidden nugget in and out-of-the way strip mall. If you like seafood, definitely hit this place. It's all fresh, theservice is fast, it's friendly, and it tastes absolutely wonderful. I'm talking clean grilled fish with grilled vegetablesMediterranean style, and a salad. All this for about 12 bucks. And the cut of fish is pretty big, no teeny portions here. Thisis really an excellent little find and I want to come here regularly though it's out of my way. We may have to change how oftenI get to this part of town. ???? At any rate if you like clean seafood grilled style, this is your spot.
