Had high expectations but was a bit disappointed. Ordered the wild mushroom toast- (which was delicious!) but pulled a whole... strand of hair out of my mouth while I was eating my salad. (It was blonde so wasn?t mine). My bf had the sausage gravy baguettewhich was?. Not good. The ?gravy? was watered down, gritty, and it just didn?t taste good. Was expecting like a classic southernsausage gravy from the description, but did not receive anything close to that. We?re not very picky people, but we justcouldn?t eat it. The cappuccino and apple cider were yummy. Also tried a few bakery items to go as well and enjoyed those laterin the day. The prices were expensive- especially for what we received. If we come back we?ll probably stick to the coffee andpastries. Read more
Amazing experience. Busy on a Thursday morning but worth waiting on the line. Order and pay inside and then server brings your... food right away. Food was delicious, best french toast I ever had! Indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly staff. Overall anamazing time. Read more
Great place! Friendly, helpful staff, clean, and delicious food (with plenty of variety, something for everyone)! They were so... welcoming of our two pups as well, who joined us for a meal on their outside dining patio (they even brought them a doggy bowlof water and gave them each home-made doggy biscuits?which were well appreciated). My dad and I stopped here on a whim, never knowing what you may find on the outskirts of a state park. It?s busy even on a... weekday. The owners are either naturally gifted or have formal training as chefs. There is some artistry involved in theprepared menu. They use locally-sourced seasonal ingredients to take basic concepts and upgrade them. Who hasn?t had a corn-beefsandwich? But they elevate it with homemade slaw, granary bread, and a salad. We noticed nice touches like table identifiersnamed after local landmarks, cinnamon dusted coffee art, tiny gherkins on your plate, and a dollop of ricotta on your frittata. Read more
