We had no idea what Georgie?s was like when we decided to go there for dinner, and were very pleasantly surprised at its upscale... yet comfortable feel and fantastic view. And the food?! Oh my gosh, it was sensational. Among other things, I had a bisque thatwas out of this world (see picture). My husband had a seafood platter that was mind boggling delicious. Delicious family friendly restaurant in Twillingate. We had the fish and chips, which were ?melt in your mouth? delicious and... the fisherman?s wharf, which stuffed our hungriest water (I hear that often this platter is shared). The staff were friendly andattentive. We came 45 min prior to our reservation but were kindly accommodated. Even the pickiest eaters were satisfied withtheir chicken fingers and fries (bonus: a dessert sundae was included in their meal). Highly recommended! Read more

We ate at Georgie?s first time ever on Aug 6 for our 8th wedding anniversary. Friends from NB and a couple of ladies from NL... joined us for a beautiful water view meal. The food was excellent and would definitely eat here again. The only negative wasthe server, she certainly needs some training on how to treat her customers who expect a full on friendly experience (maybe shehad something else going on but the only time we received any kind of friendly service from her was when the bill was about tobe paid) she rushed everything and that?s not what you want when you are out celebrating with friends and paying really goodmoney for a meal. We had an amazing experience at Georgie?s this week! First, the view is spectacular. For our party of 8, the staff were kind &... attentive, literally a well oiled machine. The food was amazing! We had a great evening at Georgie's Restaurant, first off, we had an amazing Server named Charlie, he went above and beyond for... my family and took the time to tell us some specifics of menu items as well as helping is decide what to order. With all that,he also took his sweet time and paid attention to our 20 month old daughter and made sure her evening went the best! Aside fromthat, our food was amazing and the view is breathtaking!
