I ordered take out from here last week while in town for business. First of all, Famous Dave's was located inside a Johhny... Carino's which they did not tell me about when I ordered. Second, I ordered the brisket which I love from my local restaurant inUtah. But the brisket here was horrible. It was nearly all fat and the meat had a funky taste. I had a hankering for coleslaw and BBQ so we decided to give Famous Dave's a try. We got there only to then realize it's takeout... only... from inside Johnny Carino's. Not that it stopped us, but I was really wanting to sit down and eat. The food was good,but the meat on the sandwiches was not really hot either. I recommend trying to pick your meal up ASAP so that it has less timesitting around. Read more

I?ve picked up two orders a few months apart, the brisket is bomb, the beans excellent, and corn muffins top it off. Only... complaint no potato salad. Could eat this stuff all day every day. Read more

I'm in love with the smoked pork and brisket the jalepeno mac and cheese is to die for service is as good as the food. I gotta... say the shrimp fettuccine and the scampi are yummy comfort food so make sure you get some to go too.Great atmosphere anddelicious eats. Read more
