Had an iced caramel macchiato and chatted with the barista for a few. She is very nice and I enjoy talking with her. This isn't about political views, staffing or quality of the product. This is completely about terrible service. In a world... where customer service has went south, Starbucks is the leader. I understand the labor shortage, but to be rude and nonaccommodating should not be acceptable. With the lobby closed and the useless clearlance sign bent down (even though there is noawning or any to hit) my van will not go thru the drive thru. So I went to the door and asked if I could just order a drink andpretend I was in line. They told me no, only if I have the app, which I don't have and I did not have my debit card to load onit anyway. I again asked if there was any way I could order and pay, the barista rudely said "no" closed the door and walkedaway. Starbucks competition was more than glad to accommodate me and make sure I was taken care of. If I could give a lowerrating to Starbucks customer service I would. Read more
