What a fun seafood restaurant this is. Bright colors, right on the lake, boats going by the windows. We were there in September... and still a lively crowd during the lunch hour. Great experience. Hidden gem. The closest thing to a Florida beach bar, we've found in the area. Feels like a gulf coast... grouper shack! Great environment. We both had Grouper sandwiches, double blackened, fantastic! The mixed drink list good too. Visit at sunset, watch the sun set across the lake. Read more

Wow! What a great place! They hustle, they?re attentive and their food is fresh and inventive. People sitting near me raved... about the seared tuna and the fish tacos. I had the grouper Reuben, with satisfies my love of sauerkraut,, marble rye andgrouper. Definitely recommend! Read more
So, was roaming around twin lakes, and someone convinced us to try the Sand Bar. ordered some signure drink. they were... excellent. they didn't have Regale Crown Apple whiskey, but not everywhere does. after all this is a tiki bar. love the food.had the surfer burger. had cheese and boom boom shrimp as a topping. outstanding. one little thing order my burger medium. andit came out done. my wife ordered hers the same way and it came out medium rare. I did not understand how two burgers cook sodifferent. I am understanding that cooks aren't chiefs and that thin burgers are not steaks. let us not let this take away fromthe fun this place is. they have a great friendly fun staff. so you should check them out. We have been here several times. I love their fish sliders! I also love that they have handicapped parking! I love that I can... make reservations! I love the cheerful waitresses! This place is so cute?the island decor makes me feel like we are on vacation.The view of the lake at sunset is gorgeous. Truly a favorite spot for so many reasons! I wish Krabby J?s in Antioch could takelessons from this hopping place. Without reservations, there are long waits, but even then, it is worth it. You can get drinksand appetizers while you wait!
