What?s not to love? Castle Danger is a great brewery in the heart of Two Harbors. We stopped in after a long trip in the BWCA.... It was a beautiful day and there is no better spot to spend it. What a great treat this brewery was. They even had a barbecue place there We decided to get a brisket sandwich which was... incredible! And talk about going good with beer! Absolutely love this place and we'll go back again and again and again andagain. Every time I come to Duluth I will come here They had excellent beers and beautiful ambiance lots of outdoor patioseating indoor seating and a great store with great prices. I am so happy I stopped here finally, it's the best tap room I have ever been to. It is a large, open space with a wonderful... outdoor area and perfect view of the lake and woods. Inside you have a gift shop, and a wall lined with taps. There is seatingeverywhere, so you are almost guaranteed a spot to sit. The staff are awesome and the beer is a dream come true. They have pizzayou can get and a food truck outside for when you get a little buzzed. My favorite beer of all time is Castle Danger Cream Ale,and when I came here I tried the North Shore Lager. That beer is tap room only, and is basically exactly what I picture when Ithink of the word "beer". Good flavor, and a little skunky. Basically better Budwiser. Beer suggestions would be tap roomexclusives if you are visiting, but overall the cream ale, lager royale and George Hunter stout are the best of the best. Ican't stress how wonderful of a place this is if you're into beer. Definitely worth making a stop if you're on your way to GrandMarias or are in the Duluth area. They couldn't have done a better job here at the Castle Danger Brewery and tap room. Read more
What cool place! Super friendly staff and all around great atmosphere! I had the the cream ale which is basically the best beer... on the market right now, down in the cities every bar has it on tap and sells a ton of it. No wonder it's delicious! Definitelywill come back here again! Make sure to stock up on growlers as well the law just changed! ...side note you can order pizza andeat it there.
