Not a lot of options in this area. Pretty much this bar and the red roost. we ordered a salad steak and some coconut shrimp. The... shrimp and the salad with the highlights. Drinks were good and we were able to play some corn hole and the awesome corn holesand box that they have. Great string lights. Good service. Definitely worth a fun stop if you?re in the area. Cool little place that's been there forever! My grandparents were regulars years ago when it was "Whiskers and Wife". My husband... and I along with another couple spent the afternoon out on the deck by the tiki bar yesterday. The hostess put us off a bitinitially after we walked through the restaurant out to the deck to find a table since there wasn't a sign to indicate that weneeded to wait to be seated. Rather than having us wait while she figured out which table to seat us at she instead told us togo back into the restaurant to the hostess station and wait for her to come in there. Not the best first impression. Once wewere seated our server Alexis was very attentive with our drinks and appetizers. Unfortunately she had not been provided withthe list of appetizers for their new "Hungry Hour" specials so we had to wait for her to go get the information. A list on paperwith the menu would have been helpful since there wasn't much signal there to look it up online. We received our food prettyquickly and it was all pretty good. The kitchen did forget the grilled pineapple with the jerk chicken but Alexis brought someas soon as we mentioned it to her. The Summer Salsa was so good I could have almost eaten it alone as was the shrimp dip. Bothwere absolutely delicious!! The crab cakes were very good as was the Tropical Island Coconut Shrimp Bowl. The bowl could haveused a bit more of the Tropical Lime Drizzle to add some more color to the flavors but I would definitely order it again. Despite the high humidity and lack of much breeze yesterday we really enjoyed eating and drinking outside and would love to goagain! Read more
I was out at the pier in Tyaskin fishing with my mom and a friend. We decided to pop in for some dinner to eat on the pier. My... mom and myself both had the grilled chicken tacos, my mom's friend had the tuna and rockfish tacos. The chicken tacos weren'tbad, not worth the price they charge but good flavor. My mom's friend,Flo, said the tuna and rockfish we're both really good.She actually took half home with her back to Baltimore for lunch at work the next day. The dinning room area was closed when wewere there, so had to order at the outside bar area. Overall nice place and very friendly staff. Like I said the prices are abit much for me but it's nice to splurge every now and then. Read more
It seems like the place isn't what it used to be for whatever reason. They may be understaffed, because while the service is... friendly and mostly competent it's not very fast, and the building hasn't been upgraded in a long time. If you have somethingthere you like it's still worth going, because the food is still good, but with how far out it is there are better options to behad closer by unless you live in Hebron. Read more
Second time here and we are sold! It's quite a drive to get out here but so worth it. The deck and bar area are fantastic. They... have an outside fireplace. They have a corn hole area to play full court corn hole! So this time around for drinks we got thepina colada and it was good. (I can't t stand paying 8.00 for a drink no matter how good) so we decided to get 2 appetizers.Crab dip with bread and rock fish bites. The crab dip was amazing. We literally forced down the last couple bites using the rockfish bites to clean the plate! You will not be disappointed here! Read more
