We attempted to take my MIL here for her birthday dinner. We had drove an hour because this is what she wanted. It was on a... Sunday so we knew they would be busy, we had a big party. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait, an hour later we startedgetting annoyed and asking questions, no one could give us answers. We also 3 diabetics in our party and one of them, her sugarwas dropping. She was atleast offered something to drink. The manager finally decided to grace us with his presence and we weretold we'd have to wait another 20-30 minutes to be seated or we could sit seperatly. We left and went somewhere else. The bartender was awesome! The food was okay. My Husband had the TBone steak asked for Medium Rare come out Medium with no... season on the meat. I had the Mushroom Chicken I was ill the whole day, after eating that chicken. Not the same Cheddars 10yrsago! We will not be dinning at this Cheddars again. Read more
Ordered the 8oz sirloin, mashed potatoes, broccoli casserole and a glass of their house pinot noir. The house wine was very... drinkable, dry and with enough tannins to make it interesting but without being overpowering like a cabernet. It also tastedvery fresh--one of the worries with ordering wine by the glass is that maybe they opened the bottle a few days ago, and youaren't getting a wine at its best. I was very happy with it. The steak was a great cut of meat with no large chunks of fat orgristle. I ordered it medium rare, and it came out perfectly cooked. It was well seasoned and tender. Usually order filetmignon, because so many places have terrible sirloin. But this was perfect, and I'd order it again. The sides were hot andtasty. Our server was friendly, with a great smile and just the right amount of chattiness. She was attentive without beingannoying, and we didn't want for anything for the entire meal (drink refills, etc). The food was decent, but I was very disappointed in the wait time. I called ahead and ordered. They said it would take 30... minutes. We arrived In 30 minutes and waited and additional 30 minutes in curbside for our food. This is not the 1st timethis has happened. It took over an hour to get food we called ahead. I really want to thank my server today for doing such a great job. His name is Allen S. and he was fantastic. Not only was... the service excellent, the food was perfect. Thanks for such a wonderful experience. Cheddars has come full circle in my view. A couple of years ago I would never have recommended this location. Our most recent dining experience changed that opinion. The dining area was clean, the food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. Highly recommended. It?s been 4 months sincewe last ate here. There is always going to be a wait because their food is just thst good. We sat out on their beautiful patio with a small... waterfall and fireplace while we waited to be called inside. We only waited 25 minutes. There were a lot of people waiting bc itwas supper time. The food was wonderful, very fresh. The portions are huge and the prices are low. They have some great dessertsas well. I suppose the only reason I can not give them the 5th star is because the dining area was very messy. The tables andchairs were clean but there was a lot of trash and food on the floor. Also the women's restroom was very dirty. Keep in mind itwas extremely busy at the time. I would suggest the Monte Cristo, Chicken Pot pie, Chicken Fingers and for dessert their cheesecake is divine! Read more
