Best Italian in town! I have a standing lunch date here weekly. I often invited friends for lunch here too. If you love eggplant... like I do you have to try Roma’s eggplant it’s so good. My friends and I went there tonight for dinner. Everything was flowing normal, service was okay. Our waitress did explain she... was new. So when our entrees came out, our waitress mentioned she had forgotten to place my order. She asked again for my orderand placed it in late. My friends were all done by the time my entree came out and I got full from the appetizer we had order.The chef came out with my entree and apologized for it being late. I asked for the chicken and realized the waitress hadforgotten to order the chicken to my entree order. At that point I didn’t want the chicken anymore. I didn’t want to waitnow for the chicken. The chef then insisted, In my mind I didn’t want to pay for something that was coming out late and also Ididn’t want it anymore. I told him three times that I did not want the chicken anymore. He instead and left. He then comesout several minutes later with the chicken after I had already requested a To go plate. The waitress arrives with the togoplates and tells us that “dessert is on the house” to make up for the issue. We order two slices of cake, they arrive incold Togo plates. Honestly, they didn’t look appetizing at all. We ask for our ticket but our waitress takes too long so wedecided to go and pay at the pick up/ hostess area. Anyways, it is gets really bad when I see my ticket. I notice the chargefor the chicken and I ask them to remove that. Then the “chef” comes out and says “I gave you free dessert and you alsowant me to void the chicken?” At this point I look at him crazy so he repeats the statement and includes “I’m theowner” I then look at him more crazy and ask him to repeat himself because honestly I was just truly amazed he could be theowner and yet provide such horrible service. I told him he can keep the untouched chicken if need be and remind him that I toldhim three times I did not want that chicken. He then quickly voided the chicken. So yes, bottom line. My kids had a pepperoni pizza. Was one ofnthe better pizzas ive had in tyler. The crust was also light and not greasy. The wife... and I had the squid ink linguini which had a mixture of seafood. Definitely worth a try if you come here. It's the onlyrestaurant in Tyler that offers this as far as I know. Read more
Me and my girlfriend decided to go to Roma’s after the gym because we were craving some Italian. It had really good reviews so... I gave it a chance and I was not disappointed! The service was amazing the waitress was on top of her game. I have to say thoughI definitely felt underdressed as I was wearing workout clothes. Restaurant’s outside definitely deceives you on what theinside looks like. They had piano music playing but there seems to be a time where they do play live music. I ordered theFettuccine Chicken Alfredo and it did not disappoint. My partner got the lasagna and I have to say it was excellent. It feelsextremely close to authentic Italian food. Read more
Was pleasantly surprised by the food here. I had the Pasta Combo, its a portion of manicotti, lasagna and cannelloni which was... excellent. My wife had Cheese Ravioli with Alfredo sauce. Another hidden Diamond! Omg!!!! Run don’t walk!!! Y’all better go get some Roma Italian! The pasta there will make you want... to savor every bite!! Slap yo momma good! I seriously ate my pasta so fast! I literally scraped up every drop of sauce till itwas gone!!!! ?????????? My new favorite place for sure!!!! Excellent customer service, from the waitress, to the owner, to thecook, they are on top of their stuff!!!! And you can feel the love!!!! Restaurant is clean all the way to thebathroom!!!!!??????????
