I've been here quite often, usually one of my favorite places to go to in Tyler.....until today. Today was the first time I took... my boys as a surprise for getting through the 1st week of school and our service along with the food was terrible. We went tosee Minions......which was an absolute adorable movie. I ordered a half pepperoni and half cheese pizza for my boys, Wings withfries and carrots for me, a pepperoni pizza for my mom, 2 mountain dews, 1 Dr pepper, and a sparkling water. What I got was tapwater, cold wings with fries and no carrots and 1 pepperoni pizza. My mother told the waiter that the water was not what sheordered and he stated they only have sparkling water in the bottle which he never brought. I had to wait about an additional 10minutes for a fork to eat my cold food. After finally getting my fork, I asked where my boys pizza was to a different waiterthat showed up with the bill about 40 minutes before the movie ended and he stated to me...... "we can't even make that". Iasked him why I was not told by the waiter and he stated he will check on it and come back. He came back and I was told it wasnever added to the order and they would make it but I could go ahead and pay for it if I still wanted it. I payed for the pizzathat came 15 minutes before the movie ended. When the waiter arrived with the pizza he handed me the hot pizza tray in my handand walked off. I did not receive an apology of any kind, nothing but cold food, bad service, and a hot trey in my hand and mykids ended up not eating because they received their food too late. Very clean and inviting theater. Assigned seating ticket sales desk inside the front door. Also multiple self serve kiosks... available. Restaurant and bar in common area in case you want to eat before going into the theater. You can watch the moviewithout purchasing food or drink. Ordering is easy, just take your seat and push the button on the little box by your table, thered light will come on and the wait staff will come to your seat. Staff we encountered was helpful and quick. Food tasted good(we had burgers and sliders). The men's and women's bathrooms were split on either side of the theater (which was inconvenient),but there is one "family" bathroom that either gender can use on both sides. This was my first time visiting here. Went with a group of friends who chose this location. I'm not a fan of having to listen to... chomping, crunching and slurping food/drinks while I'm trying to watch a movie. Also not a fan of having to reserve a seat whenpurchasing tickets. The floors were so sticky my shoes nearly got sucked off my feet. Even in the bathroom! Thankfully, themovie was loud enough to cover most of the food carnage going on around me. I doubt I'll be back. But if dining during movies isyour thang, go for it! Read more
We went to see the new Top Gun Maverick movie. It was awesome! The place is stunning from the moment you walk in. They have... everything. Food, snacks, drinks, and a really nice bar area. Then when you go into the actual theater area they have the mostcomfortable seats, each with a small table to sit your food on. You can order from their menu and they will bring your order toyou in the theater. Great service! The best thing about the whole experience, and it is an experience. This is not just a movieat a movie theater. It's a whole experience and the best part of it was the amazing movie screen and the incredible surroundsound. It is over the top quality! If you have not experienced Studio Movie Grill I highly recommend you check it out. You willnot be disappointed! Read more
A relaxing and comfortable movie theater where you and your friends or family can enjoy food, watch a movie, and hang out. The... food is fine if you are not picky and the price is reasonable considering it's served in a movie theater by waiters orwaitresses. The seat is not like those luxurious recline seats but is comfortable. The only complaint I have is when I was therelast time, the cup holder was dirty and had spilled drink in it. Read more
My wife and I went to see top gun on Saturday evening. The food was alright and the movie was good but it took over an hour for... us to get our food the movie was close to being over and I had to tell two different waiters and also push the service buttonfor someone to finally realize that I still didn't have my food. The food was cold but I didn't feel like having to deal with itagain so I just ate it. It was $83 worth of food and drinks and all that was taken off my ticket was $11.97 for a gratuitycharge. I left the guy a $5 tip anyways because I didn't know for sure who's fault it was. Overall it was a bad experience formy first time there and probably will not return. Read more
The movie area is great clean and roomy. All the staff is very friendly and sweet and willing to help with everything other than... comments on food lol ... The food was cold and just nasty over cooked, to greasy, old grease taste, burgers dry, chicken tastedfroze and recooked then froze again. Other than the food "to each their own" this place is a great place and I recommend tryingout. Read more
Bring ear plugs. The volume in every movie is over the top. I mean deafening. My kids kept their fingers in their ears the... entire movie every one we saw. Food is great and the theatre is clean. Hard to enjoy the movie though when sound is over 100decibels. Read more
