Horrible Dining experience. The rolls were tasty and OK, even though pricey, understandably due to the location. But the... service? Only one very rude waitress. She might have been overwhelmed, and we were sympathetic for the real long delay... However, she was yelling to customers, complaining, and outright unmannered. Next time we crave sushi. Excellent Resturant and some of the best sushi I have ever had (and I have had a lot). We went on monday to take advantage of... their $5 maki Monday deal. The server was very kind, explained how the deal works (one alcoholic drink or appetizer per twopeople for the rolls). We sat by the bar and they even gave us some free snacks as we waited. The fish is all delicious and veryfresh, and the clam chowder was perfectly seasoned! Would definetly recommend! Read more
I am pretty damn picky when it comes to sushi but this place satisfied all my needs. They had amazing clam chowder the tasting... slightly mixed in with a space like wasabi or something. I would definitely come back here if I were to go back to Moheganbecause they gave us a great to go box! Read more
Overall we had a great experience. We went midday on a Sunday, not very busy but waited a bit to be seated. Our food was... wonderful and came quickly once ordered. We did wait a bit for the waiter to realize we were finished and needed our check butotherwise a good visit. Image below of the avocado roll (bottom right), shrimp tempura roll (bottom left), and the AmericanDream roll (top). The only off putting part of the sushi for me was that the tail was left on the shrimp in the tempura roll.This may be customary as I haven?t had this roll before but I did not expect it. Read more
I ran into Sushi Koya after a little bowling in Mohegan Sun. This is a small spot complaint with social distancing and masks... requirements. The service was great! The sushi even better. I will definitely be returning. Read more

Anyone giving this place a rating of more than 2 stars is out of their minds. It's literally grocery store grade sushi with... insanely high prices. Of all the restaurants that I ate at while at the Mohegan, this is the only one that left me feelingcheated and unsatisfied. Read more
