We ordered the "famous" French Dip. It was so fatty and the cheese wasn't melted. Our waitress clicked the wrong button and we... got sides we didn't want. The manager said "well okay enjoy". Lunch with a friend. Food was good. Greeted with enthusiasm by the hosts, very welcoming. Was a little creeped out by our server... who kept referring to us as "sweetie", "love", "honey"...too much for me. Bathroom was a mess. Chicken caesar salad was freshand tasty. Friend had glazed salmon and was happy with it. I will go back, but other alternatives to explore. Edit: dropped totwo stars, since someone reached out via the review and when I followed up via email, per their request NO response. Would NOTreturn. Update: received a gift certificate from previous manager due to the poor experience and had the opportunity to use it.What a difference! Jim (new manager) and Erin (server) gave us a memorable experience! Whole new vibe, food was excellent,actually felt like a completely different restaurant. Grilled chicken sandwich looked amazing. Average chain restaurant food, nothing special. The nachos weren’t cooked in the oven, they just had queso and toppings on... them. The chicken tenders were good. The cocktail I ordered off the drink menu was so sugary it wasn’t even enjoyable. Read more
Decided to give Toms a try for the first time today. My husband and I can be picky about food but this place was absolutely... incredible! The short rib tacos and prime rib dip sandwich were easily in our top 5 favorite meals we have ever had, cocktailswere off the charts and appetizers were incredible. The servers and bartenders were very friendly and checked in with usmultiple times. Our server Tanya took great care of us and made us feel like we were life long friends. She also had greatrecommendations for food/drink. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a new favorite restaurant! Read more
Got hair in my food and the food was super basic for the prices. The bread was stale and the manager even told me he doesn’t... like the bread either . The drinks were over $20 and the bottle/canned beer is oversized but they don’t tell you that beforehand. Lost my appetite after pulling hair out my mouth. V upset. I ate here twice while attending the Eastern Energy Expo at Mohegan Sun. I really liked the atmosphere... good music and good... vibe. My chicken club was excellent. Captain and coke was nice and strong. This would be 5 stars if the service would havebeen a little better... little things like forgetting silverware, no napkins, and trying to find someone to take care of thoseissues. The old fashioned is a tad sweet for me. This place is still real good. I will be back. Read more
It's Mother's Day weekend so the casino is flooded with hungry happy people!! Every restaurant has a wait time unless you made... reservations! We often visit Tom's Urban and can't believe this is my first review!! Well the menu has a variety of food!! Thevibe is lit to say the least!! Music Playlist always on point!! Plenty of big TV's, bar space and dining area to enjoy yournight from all angles!!! We did place our name on list to be seated...wait time was 40 minutes to an hour. After about 10minutes or so we realized we never recvd the text confirming our reservations. Upon returning to verify the phone number whichshe misunderstood and entered wrong. That was quickly rectified, we were accommodated quickly due to the error!! We ordered appsonly!! Adobe chicken and braised short ribs nachos!!! Very tasty, large portion but we had to send them back due to short ribbeing cold. Our server gladly replaced them apologized and made us aware we were correct, burner was out on warmer for meat!!Once it was corrected nachos were great. Also ordered crispy calamari, too much breading and not enough calamari. With my hubbybeing Italian he was a bit critical ????! But they weren't the best we have had from a bar!!! We had a fantastic lunch at Tom's! The french dip and garlic fries were delicious and our server Holly was exceptional!! She was... super friendly, made great food/drink (and slot machine) recommendations, the service was insanely fast, and it was fun chattingwith her about the extreme sports being shown on tv.
