Had a run in with some dude today. I'm unsure if he was a district manager visiting or a new store manager overseeing the... breakfast rush. In any case I knew he was "special" judging by his grey button up shirt and the way he was talking, or at leasthe likes to think he's special. Ive been coming to Hardees for 15 years to get their breakfast biscuits. I have never had anyproblems substituting the sausage for an egg at no additional up charge. i am sensitive to the low quality sausage meat, and canonly tolerate the egg. Today I wasn't allowed to. An egg biscuit costs $3.19 whereas a sausage biscuit is $2. $1.19 upcharge foran egg, why? Because your bulk carton of eggs costs 0.07 cents each compared to 0.05 for each sausage patty? I will never paythat amount, no matter how hungry I am. Today i skipped breakfast and gave the single sausage biscuit to my husband. Whenever Iam allowed a substitution without an upcharge i normally get 4. Funny, the cashier's better understand how to make a sale andretain customers for 15 years than this guy can in one day. I stop in usually 3 times a week in the am. Always get the biscuts and gravy. Very reasonable pricing,and always fast service.... Even if there are 3 to 4 cars in front of me in the drive through I usually am only there 5 minutes or less. Extremely fast andcourteous folkes running the store, I do reccomend Read more
Typically, it's terrific. We get breakfast there when we go grocery shopping for the week. But this last time...terrible. the... sandwich was cold and old. The biscuit was hard. And the worst part was the store Manager was the guy handing us the food. So,he knew he was giving us old food. Usually there is a good looking blonde with a side shave that hands us food and she isterrific and friendly and the food is always fresh. Read more
