NOTE: Not 4 years ago. (Sept. 2, 2022.) Hadn't been to the MT in a while and was craving a turkey BLT. Also ordered grilled... cheese for a friend. Was quite disappointed in both: Fries were smashed into to-go container as if they were PART of thesandwich and the steam from them made the toasted bread all soggy and soft. And No mayo was provided. Asked for Muenster andAmerican cheese but got only American on the grilled cheese. The last couple of times I ordered take-out from here, somethingwas missing. Overall, the MT has gone downhill slowly, which is sad because I used to love it. Read more
What great quality food, so delicious. Wow big portions, you get your money worth. We got the pulled pork tacos ?????? For our... side we had seafood bisque soup, cheese fries with brown gravy and philly steak egg rolls with a divine dipping sauce ???? Theservice was amazing, so kind and respectful. You can't really complain about the service and you definitely can't complain about the food. The ambiance has gotten more... formal over the years and the place has touches of fine dining here and there. From the uniforms to the artwork to themanagement, they have really made lots of improvements and the hard work shows. Read more
Woke up in a dazed state and wanted to get breakfast for dinner, waiters overheard me wanting cheesecake AND french toast so the... very kind, attentive, creative staff suggested i do both.I was then blessed with this masterpiece. My family goes to a different restaurant every Sunday to have family breakfast. This Sunday we picked ?Mark Twain Diner?. Let... me start to say, This was place has the best service. Had always seen this place by my daughter's college but never tried it till last night. This place was amazing. The waitress was... super friendly and very on top of her tables. Everything was so good i forgot to take pictures. My daughter and i ordered a bigbreakfast platter with pancakes, eggs bacon and sausage. Also ordered a teaser chicken wrap with fires and 2 soups one a lentilsoup which i had and it was superb and a chicken noodle soup she had which she also loved. I decided to order a drink (seabreeze) and it was made just right. The entire meal was prepared perfectly will definitely come back to try more of their menu.You have to try this place out. i have now visited this place several times since my first review and this last time my daughterand i came on Tues night was by far my best experience so far. Marcela our server was fantastic she went above and beyond fromthe begining. She was warming and friendly and extremely attentive.
