The food was good and the staff was friendly. I ordered whiskey sour as I saw Basil Haydens but the drink was not what I thought... would be. So while the food is good I suggest one sticks to margaritas and cervezas- you get quality drink. Read more
It would be hard to rank low a restaurant that permits a view such as is permitted at 2 Margaritas. The Hood Canal was our... dining room. We had just checked in to our B&B and 2Ms was our orientation to the area. As Californians my wife and I have manyoptions for Mexican food. It was a slight and good surprise to find 2Ms. Of the four of us, two had margaritas so I can say thatwe had 2 margaritas at 2 Margaritas. And yes the food was very good & the service excellent. Haven't been here for quite a long time. I was hungry! The waiter suggested a soup with seafood...sorry, can't spell it, but it... was a super large bowl and very good! He was very helpful and friendly. Then I had the fried ice cream and churros. I tried thepomegranate margarita...Yummy! This is my favorite Mexican food place! Read more
6:48 parking right out front! 6:50 seated at lovely outdoor table for dinner 6:52 chips and salsa delivered, drink order... taken 6:55 big margaritas arrive, dinner order taken (yay! Good sign!) 7:10 dinner arrives. Very fresh ingredients, goodfood 7:20 finishing up dinner, second round of drinks ordered from our server 7:30 we both run out of water 7:40 we ask a busboyto flag down our server in the hope of maybe getting our drinks, or at least some water 8:05 we abandon all hope that we willever see our drinks and decide we should just ask for the check 8:10 we ask for the check from a different server 8:25 dinnerover, chips and salsa exhausted, water empty, sun dropping low on the horizon and it is starting to get chilly 8:35 we ask a 3rdwaitstaff for our check 8:45 the outdoor patio is almost completely empty now and we are not seeing any server activity 8:50dinner out now officially ruined, we get up to leave and have to ask the hostess for our check. Nice little spot. Good food and service. The flan is amazing!!! My friend and I split a 20 dollar entre and had the flan for... dessert. Yummy lunch on the water for 30 bucks or less! We will be back! I just love finding these little gems along the HoodCanal. Read more
