Wonderful atmosphere. Service and food was great. Live music by Jonah Carden was amazing.
I didn't get a pic because I ate it so fast. I got fish tacos pan seared. One word amazing. So fresh and perfect. I'm not gonna... lie...the best I have ever ate with all the places we go this tops it all. I'm seriously thinking about another plate. We visited the tavern while we stayed in Gap mills. The atmosphere was great, the wait staff was friendly, however I do not... share the same fond sentiments for the food as others have. My husband's Alfredo was not only lacking seasoning but also sauce,it was quite dry. The baked potato wasn't good either. I had the smothered chicken which also DESPERATELY needed seasoning. I love the Deli on Main sandwich shop & now it is serving from the tavern. Wish they still had their own shop. More quaint &... personal. Always order my sandwich special. Prices have gone up since they were in their own place but everything has so I am okpaying a little more. Read more
Found this quaint place as we were passing through town. Very nicely decorated for the Christmas holiday. We ordered the bang... bang shrimp for our appetizer. It had just the right amount of kick to it. We ordered the Tavern Burger and the 8 oz. Angus Beefand Brisket Burger for our meal. Both burgers were very tasty and not dry. My husband and I try to support local restaurants as much as possible and have eaten here weekly for the past month or so. The... wait staff are prompt and efficient, and the beer/wine selections and prices are rather good. They offer several deliciousentrees plus a nightly dinner special served in portions so big we often eat half and box up the other half for the next night?sdinner. We have liked everything we have ordered here so far but the smothered chicken and chicken Parmesan entrees areespecially good. You can sit outside on their large deck when the weather is warm or sit inside and watch football or othersports on a gigantic TV from the large bar in the center or tables along the walls. Union Tavern offers a fine dining menu and atmosphere that is intertwined with casual dining at the same time. The food is... delicious and tasty while it ranges from chicken fettuccine Alfredo to a burger and fries. They offer great garden salads aswell. The facility is wheel chair accessible and provides a spacious dining area indoors and outdoors depending on yourpreference. Bob, Rob, Tonyia and Savanna offer great and friendly service to their customers and the staff genuinely smile. Ican?t wait to go back! Read more
Stopped in for lunch on the way to Lewisburg. Loved the chopped Italian salad. Great service!
