We went to try a new breakfast spot. The food was disappointing. My husband's pancakes were fluffy. My chicken fried steak and... home fries were fried beyond recognition and tasteless. Our waitress never came back to check our table 1 time. I ate the foodbecause I was hungry, but will not go back. I flagged another waiter down to bring us our check-which was not correct. Thewaitress added extra pancakes on the bill that we didn't order. He fixed it and apologized. Nice quaint town. However, notimpressed by the breakfast at this restaurant. Perhaps dinner and lunch menu would be different? Not sure . Prices werereasonable and the waiter who fixed our bill was very nice. Read more
I can't say enough about this place. Weather it is breakfast, lunch or dinner the food is out of this world! One of the best... Country Fried Steaks I have ever had. Kids love the cheeseburgers! Also make sure to save room for the house made desserts. The Jewish Apple (and peach) cake tastes just like my mom made! You will thank me for visiting this lovely restaurant! Read more
Superb home cooking and service! You get your monies worth and more. Just about everything is made in house, including the soups... and desserts. It is a local place where the owners check up on everyone. They might know all the regulars but still make newcomers feel welcome. Please visit this restaurant soon. They are going to sell the restaurant and the building so they canretire. It is an experience that is sorely lacking in most places, excellent food, good value and attentive service. Read more
I moved to Florida many years ago to open a B&B in Fort Myers and always frequented Buttersburg before moving. Now, I come back... at least once a year to visit friends and family and always and I do mean ALWAYS stop into Buttersburg for dinner. if what you like is going to a small charming family run Diner in a small charming town, and you came to the right place. my... wife and I have been here at least 10 times and will always keep coming back if we're in the area.
