We ordered the number 3, which includes one chicken slider, tender, and fries. We selected hot as the level of spice. Each... slider contained a hearty piece of chicken and a generous amount of light, crispy breading. The pickles were of excellentquality and had just the proper amount of acidity to go nicely with the chicken's heat. The unique sauce is much more tangy andsweet than others. I'm thankful that they have about seven different spice levels, including no spice. I went with mild and it was still a little... spicy for me (I have a terribly low spice tolerance) but the chicken was fantastic. It's perfectly fried, well seasoned, and oneslider on its own is filling. The fries also have great seasoning on them, and you get some complimentary slices of bread withthe tenders. This one is a new restaurant in Union landing. It's right next to the theater... the chicken is like the main dish... its... popular chicken tenders and sliders are very popular. Was in the area visiting a friend and was looking for a good chicken spot. Saw a Jolibees and pulled in to this center did a... quick search to see reviews and saw Dave's Hot Chicken was in the same area with much better reviews. Definitely made the rightchoice. I got the number 2 which comes with two chicken sliders and fries, I chose hot as my spice level. The chicken had agreat amount of light crispy breading and a hearty piece of chicken in each slider. The pickles were high quality and had justthe right acidity to blend well with the heat of the chicken! The special sauce is tangy and sweet much better than Cane'sspecial sauce ???? I?ve heard a lot of great things about this place, so my expectations were very high. Reviewing the food: The food was good. I... got 2 pieces of hot chicken with french fries, and Dave?s Special Sauce made the chicken more delicious. However, for the priceI paid, it could have been more fulfilling. I?ve gone to a different spicy fried chicken joint where you get more for what yourmoney?s worth. Also, I don?t like that they use styrofoam containers. Reviewing the service: This doesn?t have as much to dowith the place itself, but it was really misleading for Google to say that the place is ?usually not too busy? when I went. Ihad to wait for almost an hour for my food. And that was after waiting in line for about a half hour to order. When I finallygot my food, while it was good, it wasn?t overall very satisfying given how long I had to wait. For a place this popular, theyreally need to do a better job with handling a big line, especially on a Friday night when it gets really busy (which is when Iwent). First time at Dave's Hot Chicken. The line was kinda long since it's new, but it was worth it. I love all spicy food. I chose... "hot" just to try it out. It was decently spicy. The Dave's Sauce was pretty good. Reminds me of In-n-Out "spread" but a morerefined flavor. Could do with a better interior design and table layout, but does the job sofar. Only thing I didn't like wasthe Line formation. Split into 2 separate lines when you get inside. Instead of 1 line that goes to the next available teller.Unfortunately I got stuck in the line with the slowest teller and my friend was able to get her food 15 minutes before I did.Her cheese fries didn't have a chance at surviving that long with me waiting. Today I decided to go on a drive to try the famous Dave's Hot Chicken. After trying all the Nashville Hot Chicken places in the... Bay Area I can assure you this was the best. The line was well addressed along with fast service. The Food was well placed inthe trays and not like other places. Will definitely be making the drive to come more often. Excellent chicken. Very busy when I went, expect a ~15 to 30 min wait during busy times. Current menu is also with this post... for those who want to see what they offer. They have meals + sides to order. For those who want a good first time, medium levelhot sauce should be a good intro for the hot sauce scales, leaves just a slight burn ????. Chicken was crunchy, fries weredelicious. A little pricier than other restaurants, but the quality and flavor is still great for the price. Got the #2, twosliders with Pickles + fries, but ended up getting another order of fries. 10/10 would eat again. Bonus: restaurant is halalcertified too! Read more
