Pickup for takeout takes a ridiculous time and food is never on the time processed. Expect to wait at LEAST half an hour,... probably more. There are only two servers, one for the sweets sales and one for the restaurant. Even after letting staff knowthat I had ordered ahead, and arriving at the quoted time it has been half an hour already when writing this review. Severalother customers had started to pile in and now the restaurant side is far far behind on service to tableside as well as pickup.I told my wife I didn't want to order from Kabila and we've passed up on ordering here for a couple years. I tried again andhave been shown exactly why I decided to never order from Kabila again. It's a shame. The food is okay, but the service isclose to non-existent. It is not like the owners don't know about this as they have posted a sign that says "Short staffed, yourpatience is appreciated." I feel sorry for the servers, but even as short staffed as they are, they are operating at a leisurelyrate. Don't expect to get acknowledged when you enter either. You will pretty much have to hunt service down. Also, although Iam reviewing this with 1 star right now, 2 years ago before the pandemic started I had a very similar experience, and a fewtimes before then stretching back to 2017. 7/29/22 Friday due to staff short n may be they had plenty of online orders our food comes one dish @ a time. Fish pakora n... chicken tandoori taste very good but small pieces/portion. Garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, goat curry n biryani also tastevery good but food prices r ridiculously high. We use to go often for buffet before pandemic. Went here to pick up dinner. Ordered Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic naan and Malai Paneer and Tandoori rotis. I was... pleasantly surprised by the Tikka Masala as it was really a Tikka as against other places which serve chicken chunks in place ofTikka. Malai Paneer was decent. No complaints there. Kabila is one of the top Indian restaurants in Union City. Try butter chicken if you can. Its out of the world. They also make... very tasty sweets. Wait times are a bit longer but the food is very tasty. My neighbors did a big wedding order and the guestswere very pleased. Definitely recommended. Read more

This was my 1st time going to this place. My dad has recommended a couple times because he loves Indian food. He has mentioned... to me that it may be a bit pricey. So when I went there I just got the basic chicken curry with an added on rice and naan and itcame out to almost like 16 bucks. I feel like that was a little pricey for what I got as you can see my chicken curry wasn't a13 cup to me but I have to give him the flavors are really good!! I'm not gonna lie I'm not sure if I'll go back and spend thatsame 16 bucks when costco is right across street for $10 pizza. In this day and age I think about quantity over quality.Definitely was worth the quality but not worth my quantity. Oversell good customer service, was a wait which I didn't mind meansthey make to order and not just scoop out heat food that sit out all day. Read more
