In town for 50 Year HS Reunion from the state of Washington. I have a couple of Mexican restaurants in Washington that are tops.... Hard to believe Mexico Tipico is even better. Authentic as it gets. Was in on Thursday September 29th sat at the bar. Thebartender was excellent and made great Margaritas. The Taco & Enchilada combo was delicious. The experience I had tonight was horrible,if I could give less than one star I would. I had to ask for things that should have... been provided like water and napkins after our dinner arrived. The things asked for came 15 minutes asking for them. Not tomention several different people staff members coming and removing things off the table without asking if we were done. Theserver had no clue about the menu and did not provide good service. She forgot things and walked past without asking if thingswere ok. My sour cream and tortillas came at the end of the meal and never once did she apologize for her lack of attention toher table. We had to ask for the check twice, she just kept speed waking past with her back towards us saying it?s coming. Themanager who we requested came to the he table but he was just as bad and not helpful. He seemed uninterested to hear theconcerns in his establishment. This place is very good. One of the better chili rellenos I have had. Almost like homemade. Spicy pork is flavorful and just hot... enough. Margaritas looked awesome too. Be advised poor signage, you could drive right by it. It is next to a dental officeparking behind building. Nice patio and all covid measures still in place,masks distancing etc. Service was meh. Wait was not long to sit inside! Thankfully because I was starving..but to get my order placed and guacamole took a bit of time.... Once food arrived I had drank 2 lemonades and ate 2 baskets of chips. Food was delicious as usual! Always a go to for me. Read more
Starting off with the chips and salsa was great. I mean yes it is just chips and salsa but the salsa had a great taste and spice... to it. The chicken enchiladas (red and green) where delicious. You can get them in orders of either 1 or two. Only thing Ididn't like was that after we got our food no one checked on us. We had asked for extra chips to eat with our beans and we nevergot them. The weather was cold so it wasn't like we could wait for because within a couple of minutes the food was already cold.( the weather is not the waiters fault) but because we where sitting out side and it was windy and cold we should of beenchecked on a little more.
