Very expensive per each plate and you only get 2-4 small pieces per plate. I ordered a Philly roll for myself and only got 3... pieces of small sushi, the other half was put up on the boats. There were mainly 5.75 and 4.75 plates floating around. The staffwas nice and the place looks great but compared to other local sushi places the prices were really frustrating. We spent $40 andhad to go eat somewhere else just to finish our dinner. I would go back if either the food amount increased or the pricedecreases. Read more
The food is pretty good. But many boats were empty, after waited for a while, finally my friend asked them to refill them. One... waitress told us to order from the menu. Her service wasn't good. But then the other (younger) waitress politely explained to usthe boats were empty due to shift change. Read more
Went in on Wednesday at around 1:00pm. It was pretty much empty (less than six tables and two people on the bar). With two... servers, I believed the service should be better. My mom and I had to ask for everything - more tea shouldn?t be something wehad to. Sushi is disappointing. It was very cold of everything - cold tempura, cold rice, cold eel. Didn?t expect a hotdish, but I felt like I ate leftover instead of fresh made sushi even when I just ordered and dine inside restaurant. I gavea three stars because the sushi person at the bar is actually observed customers more than the servers! As his hand is busy,his eye contact is also noticeable. Cute restaurant, delicious sushi, friendly staff. Both the sushi bar and the table service was excellent. The hot tea was most... appreciated on a cold rainy night, and our waitress kept our cups filled. We all enjoyed our meals. The price was quitereasonable. I'd definitely recommend Sushi Boat. We come here almost every time we go to the movies - start with sushi and then head to the theater. We always sit at the bar so... we don't have to wait for service as it takes about 20 minutes after the order whenever we take a table. The food tastes good. Not happy with the prices though, they are a bit higher then most other sushi places but i guess i am willing to pay forconvenience being in such close proximity to the movie theater. Read more
