Captain D's was challenging, today...Was in line for 36 mins, I get to the window a young sweet guy said they were out of bread... could I order something, else? BUT, they found some bread ???? Wow am I disappointed with the food and services at this Captain D's, located on Jonesboro Road in Union City, GA. I spent... approximately thirty dollars on pick-up food that was totally inedible and should have never been prepared or sold to anycustomer. After reporting it to the manager, an explanation was given to suffice the condition of the food and its presentation.Apparently their freezer door had been ajarred the night before causing the food to be thawed out unintentionally. Although thiscaused some inconveniences the next day, they still cooked the food and sold it to the customers. My chicken fingers and fishwere burned to crisp, the Talapia was grilled fried , if there is such a process, to the point of it giving a glazed appearanceof wax; too hard to digest. The rice was very hard and overly salted and could not be eaten. The reason the grilled Talapiaplate was in such disarray, meaning all over the place, is because they had run out of the regular serving trays and used somewithout compartments. Once the food started moving around there was no end or stopping place. Only the middle portion of thebaked potato could be prepared to eat because the inner sides were overly baked and stuck to the inner walls of the potato. Onlythe sides of broccoli and corn were edible. I was told to return with the receipt to be compensated, however after returning Iwas informed that nothing could be done at the servicing store. I was encouraged to return to where my online order was placedto receive my money back or the food. Although the food was ordered on line, it was picked up at the restaurant by my husband. Ifeel betrayed and robbed, especially after conferring with the manager who worked the next day and hearing her say that theprevious manager had no business telling me that the freezer had been opened the night before. Always been a big fan of captains D but the fact they thought it was acceptable to give me what clearly looks like old molded... broccoli is very unacceptable especially a meal that was meant for my lil children also . Just stopped through from visiting with family and used the drive-thru for quick lunch. The ladies had a great attitude and the... food was hot and delicious. I got 2 3-piece fish meals with no drinks or extras and that came out to $17.86 with tax and nocoupons. Read more
I come here at least once a week but for some reason the drive thru young lady working this particle day must have had a bad... night or something. Was very rude. She shouldnt be working with the public. Place her in the back where she does not haveto interact with folks. Definantly not a people person. Read more
