We saw the pictures of the food on google, also a few people we know have gone to this place and said the food was great, we... ordered four dishes, my son had the chaulafan, which is a Chinese type of rice made in Ecuador. I had the encebollado my wifeordered the bolon mixto and my daughter had the pollo apanado, My encebollado had way too much condiment, I had to add a lot oflemon and hot sauce to eat it, My son?s rice was bland, no flavor at all, my daughter breaded chicken fillet was also way toosalty the only thing that was OK was the bolon, I really wanted to try that the humitas so we got some for home, today in themorning when I had it also was way too salty. Very disappointing, the pictures online of course make it seem the is so good butfrom my personal experience the food is terrible. they need to hire a better chef who knows who to properly season the food, Idon?t think I?ll come back to this place any time soon, I think Cejas restaurant its way much better. The food is delicious. The only thing I didn't realize was that they added gratuity to the check automatically (dining with less... than a party of 6) but I didn't realize so I double tipped. The auto-added gratuity is less than 20%, so honestly I'd supplementanyway but I ended up tipping like 35% as a result of not realizing, so just FYI. Read more
