Shouldn?t call yourself a pizzeria if your not making pies, been here twice for a pie and both times was told they not making... pies! Read more
Just popped into this place and learned that it is under new ownership. The place is very nice and the guys behind the counter... were friendly and attentive. I ordered a deli hero and chicken parm sandwich. Both were great! The sauce on the chicken parmwas quite good and the fresh mozzarella on the hero was really good too! I believe these guys are trying very hard to succeed, but are just not there yet. I asked for a chicken cutlet and fresh... mozzarella sandwich. For me a chicken cutlet in these parts is chicken breast pounded, spices, and breaded then fried or placedin the oven the result is crispy on the outside and succulent, juicy on the inside. What I got was a slice of chicken pan friedon the griddle and the result was a bit dry not juicy. The bread was not good crusty italian bread even thou the location is astones throw from Hoboken, king of the best bread in the northeast. I also had a slice to go. The slice was ok.
