We've gone a few times with friends due to how close it is to us. Its also in a quiet and nice area. During the warm seasons,... the back deck is pretty nice to sit on and watch the sunset. The workers and bartenders are great, the drinks are pretty rough.We learned to not eat the food much the 2nd time we went. Its became a joke to our friendgroup. We all know, you eat the food,you'll be blowing up what they have as a bathroom there. Pretty dirty place. We've since found other bars to head to that are adecent distance of us all. Great outdoor venue! Very organized, lots of entertainment and good food!
I'll share my view as somebody visiting from out of town. The venue itself is gorgeous, the view is gorgeous, the bathrooms are... old and need to be redone. The drinks are good, they only had one person working on a Saturday afternoon lunch hour. We orderedtwo appetizers, pierogies and fried cauliflower. Pierogies were delicious, three pieces to the order was an odd count.Cauliflower was delicious when it was the small bits, the large bits were still frozen on the inside, and the outside coatingwas fried but the inside coating was still gummy. We had fish and chips and fried chicken and french fries platters. The fishand chips first arrived frozen, and then when they brought it back out it was overly done. It was very unappetizing andoff-putting. The fried chicken was very bland, the seasonings were flower, water, salt and pepper essentially. I'm surprised ithas the 4.7 out of 5-star rating. The only reason I gave it the extra star to make it two stars is because of how beautiful thevenue is. Chets place was great! Their wings are DELICIOUS! There was a good atmosphere with lots of travelers and locals. There is a... touch tunes music player but the night we were there was a live band. Our waiter was very friendly, a little inattentive but Ididnt want to fault him the place was packed with only 2 wait staff. Food was reasonably priced and the restaurant was clean. Read more
