Had to rate them BUT THE RESTAURANT IS CLOSED. They now have a store with many items that could be served in the restaurant. A... unique take-away. Expensive but our food was great. Expensive but cheaper than in the restaurant, and no tipping, no waiting,no alcohol to buy. Just buy what you want in the quantity you want. Good selection including main courses, veggies, desserts,and bottled wines. Well worth a visit. Read more
Our server, Leo, was knowledgeable, personable, and made our visit extra enjoyable. Food was exceptional, dirty martini was... tasty. Happy they have survived Covid and road construction bumps in the road. Read more
When we arrived, we were greeted by two pleasant hostesses and promptly seated on the patio per our request. Our server Ashley... was the absolute best. She was very attentive and ensured we were doing well during our meal there. The salmon cakes appetizerwas delicious with just the right amount of seasonings. Our entrées were served at the appropriate temperature and portionswere generous. The meal was finished by enjoying a tasteful key lime raspberry tarte. I love that they stick to their menu, and it?s not a generic menu. It shows the owners care. I noticed there was only partial... use of the dining room. I loved being able to talk with Ashley. She?s a real keeper. I did not feel rushed. I love theprivate dock so we could use our boat and avoid traffic. I know it?s hard to find good help nowadays. During the shutdown, we had heard a lot about a complete remodel coming up, but the only difference we saw was the price... increases. It is still just the loveliest restaurant with wonderful food and service, same as before. We went shortly afterthey reopened -- so happy about the Sunday hours. The restaurant was not at full capacity, which we thought was a very smartidea while they get up and running smoothly again. We do hope they will broaden the menu at some point, though, and offer a fewmore Italian pasta dishes. Read more
The lake view is nice but I can get better food at my own house while also being on the lake. To start, zero renovations have... been done so the restaurant closed because no one wants to actually eat here! Next, same menu, same mediocre food! I think it?sabout time to sell and hopefully it?s to someone who will actually utilize the prime real estate and provide a menu that doesn?tappeal to the owner but to the patrons! I?ve been going to it?s A Matter Of Taste for some time now & since they have opened up & have outside dinning we decided to go... being it?s out 50th anniversary. The food is always delicious, I had the crispy walleye with a Caesar salad from the limitedmenu they had for the opening carrot cake for desert with a Elijah Craig Bourbon to was it all down. Banquet room(s) upstairs are very nice with beautiful easterly views of the lake.
