While driving through I saw this place and decided to give it a try for lunch. It was my first time and overall it was a nice... experience. The restaurant was quaint and had a charming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the food was very good. I triedthe Baja burger, with chicken tortilla soup as a starter, and Bailey's bread pudding for desert. All of which are pictured withthis review along with the menu. Worth a stop if you're ever in the area. Read more
Sat outside cuz we had our dog, everything was very good. I tried the watermelon gazpacho and the big pretzel. The soup was... awesome and so was the pretzel! And thank you for being so kind to our Bella! Read more
Surprise! It?s good! Outside option on the patio was available, Tuna tostado was yummy and the burgers were great! Great staff... and just good feel! 2/13/2022 update! The new smoked wings are delicious! Like very delicious. We tried the Buffalo and bbq.Buffalo has a kick but doesn?t make you gag. Buffalo is sweet to balance the Smokeyness! Read more
Visited this restaurant for the first time couldn't have been more impressed! Beautiful decor! Staff was very friendly and... knowledgeable . Cocktails were fun named and delicious. Food was yummy! Ample parking. Clean restrooms ! A must visit. Greatmeeting place for friends! Came back this weekend and was greeted by happy friendly staff! Got the mac and cheese with shrimpand it was outstanding! Will definitely order it next time I'm in town! Read more
This was our first time visiting Union Pier Social. And it was a GREAT first visit. It's nice to have a place in "downtown" U.P.... opened most days. We have young kids, and there were six of us dining this evening. Age range was 5 to 80, and we all lovedit. We started with the grilled artichoke salad, and it was truly FANTASTIC! For entrees we got sandwiches, burgers and salads,and the kids got chicken nuggets. First, the nuggets. They are almost spot on McDonald's, but higher quality (that's a goodthing!). The rest of the food was great...the one unmemorable dish with the beef stew. For the price, we expected a muchheartier portion. It was mostly broth and literally three pieces of meat in it. It was disappointing, but it didn't derail theexperience or the rest of the food (for that reason, we didn't even express dissatisfaction to our server). In fact, we wereenjoying the food so much that we ordered cheese curds midway through. They were great! As for drinks, decent selection. Iloved they have M-43 on tap! One comment is that they should have offered a glass with the can of beer I ordered (pictured:Gumballhead). We went very early on a Monday night, unsure whether crowds would await us. There were several people at the barand only one other table of people in the dining room. But by the time we left, it was crowded. Not so crowded there was a waitfor a table, but I looked around, and most were filled. That's a good sign on a Monday night in the off season. We stopped in early for dinner and we had a fantastic meal. Sampled a few burgers and a salad and everything was right on. The... burgers are like a double smash burger that were nice and juicy. Try the pineapple slaw as a side , it?s awesome. Can?t wait toget back here ! Read more
Hubby and I went to Union Pier Social to celebrate a special occasion and we were greeted by a professional and friendly... hostess, who led us to an umbrella covered table outside. Our server showed up a few minutes later and suggested a few drinkoptions- ended up with a margarita and a grapefruit vodka cocktail that were both spot on! We ordered the Italian salad,meatball sandwich and a jerk pizza. All came out quickly, were delicious!!!! The meatballs were pretty amazing, but the chipsserved next to the sandwich... couldn?t get enough of them! The jerk pizza, which wasn?t spicy, had an fabulous combination offlavors! Totally ordering it again and even the leftovers the next day were quite yummy! Great ambiance and decor... love theshiplap and how bright and airy the place feels! Baggo and ring games in the back part of the patio are a must if they are setup! Will be going back again soon... and bringing friends with us! Welcome to the neighborhood, UPS! First time here. Lovely outdoor seating. I had the impossible burger with Brie and mushrooms and it was delicious. The fries... were perfect. When it came time to pay for the check, I was charged an extra two dollars for switching in a vegan burger. Allburgers are listed at $14 on their menu and yet, they charged me $16. When I expressed that I felt this was unfair, the managerlowered my bill back to $14. I just hope they don?t pull this on every guest. If you?re going to charge more, it needs to bestated on your menu. I don?t understand why you would charge an extra two dollars for a switch anyway when all burgers are thesame price. Read more
