Our go to Sushi place! Outstanding service, always fresh, portions and prices are great, tastes delicious! They have an... outstanding selection of very well prepared rolls - tastefully done, with no "overboard" rolls. Can tell they take great care inevery aspect of our dining experience. We've been here countless times - and keep coming back. We even tried Nobu in Manhattan -just to see how Yume stacks up. Needless to say, we've been back to Yume multiple times since! Great service, we had a large group gathering and the service was exceptional. The food was excellent as well. The only downside... was the wait time for the chef to cook. They only had 1 chef for all the hibachi tables. I still gave them 5 stars because ofthe service give. They even had a ending sake toast with the group. Read more
I miss going to Yume. The shaggy dog was my go to, and the ambiance and staff were always pleasant. There are other delicious... menu items that are especially fun to try on Specials days, but who could resist a name like Shaggy Dog and shrimp tempura ???? Read more
Our first time there. Upon referral from a friend. Definitely not disappointed. We had lunch steak and shrimp Hibachi!! So ????.... Served with rice and vegetables and mushroom soup. Also a side salad. They had this sauce that made the food even better ??. Ourwaiter was fantastic ????. We will definitely be going back there with our family. We have decided to take our son there for his13th birthday ????????. He loves everything Japanese. Even the rest rooms were so clean and beautiful decor. We will see yousoon ????. Read more
Yume has always been one of my favorite Hibachi restaurants. I love the mushroom soup and salad along with the main course for... the Hibachi dinner. There have been times I?ve gone there in the past and it gets busy so definitely call ahead to get areservation but this a great spot. Read more
I love yume! Always a great place no matter the size of your party. I even had a birthday celebration there once! Their hot sake... machine is amazing I don't know why but it is better than other ones lol they have multiple sushi rollers so you get delicioussushi and fast I have even watched 3 go at once it was pretty cool! As I said delicious sushi ???? and they even had someone tomake sure your water was always full and he was full of jokes. Actually all of the staff was very friendly. 1/2 hr wait to be seated, 1/2 hr to order drinks, 1 hour for food to arrive. I made the mistake of ordering hibachi filet Mignon... and lobster tail. The steak was good and the lobster over cooked, both were covered in an over abundance of sauce. I should havenoticed that the hibachi area was empty. The locals that were with me all ordered Sushi and were happy with their well presentedorders at a very reasonable price. Recommend ordering Sushi not Hibachi and allowing lots of time. Read more
I barely ever leave negative review but I actually feel so scammed I feel obliged to? I got beef negimaki and the ratio of beef... to scallion was way off. All the negimaki I?ve ever seen/had has been a strip of meat (either chicken or beef) rolled into acylinder shape, with a little bit of scallion in the middle. The negimaki I got from Yume was a giant ball of scallion with atiny sliver of meat around the outside. The scallion is supposed to garnish the meat, not the other way around. Payed 22 bucksto eat lumps of green onion for dinner :( Not my first time being let down by this place either, I should?ve known better thanto go back but it?s so close I just figured I?d give them another chance.
