The BEST Maryland wine. IYKYK. I don’t like sweet wine but the award winning dry meads have changed me and my husbands... perspective. The reds are juicy and acidic, dry, acidic and as described. It takes talent to produce, harvest, ferment andbottle wine like Loew makes. Been all over France and Italy, and they’ve got competition with Loew. We are big fans and arewine club members. Highly recommend trying their wines blended with Malbec, Cab Franc and the special Chancellor. Rachel is therainman of wine making and goes out of her way to make your wine experience spectacular. Thank you Loew!. Read more

Wonderful experience! We brought our small child and we were able to set up outside as a family with the beautiful vines nearby... on a beautiful fall afternoon. Lovely solid tables and chairs were provided. They offered we could walk amongst the vineswhich were lovely to look at. We did the tastings and a cheese flight with crackers. Everyone who worked there was veryfriendly, very professional and very kind. We chose our favorite wine and purchased a. bottle. You could bring a large familyor a couple of families or friends and setup all around one table or bring tables together. The views were gorgeous. What agreat way to spend a beautiful fall afternoon! Highly recommended! Read more

My husband and I came from Canada to visit our friends in Annapolis, MD. We found Lower winery by accident, we didn't know... what to expect. What an amazing surprise it was! Our host Annie greeted us very warmly outside. She is a wonderful, veryknowledgeable and passionate host. The wine (we had customize flight) are of excellent quality. We had a great time learningabout the winemaker process and the history of the winery. Our favourite was wine Klara (created by granddaughter of WILLIAMLOEW, she is the youngest winemaker in MD). Annie gave us as a souvenir wine glasses with logo. Definitely we will be back. Read more

This place is FANTASTIC! The wines are all very good and they have the first meads that I have ever liked. Personally, I liked... their reds and their meads. This is a fantastic Vinyard with a knowledgeable and personable staff. I cannot wait to go back andbring all of my friends! Read more

Very unorganized. Sigh said “check in” not order here. Went inside and felt like we had invaded a family gathering. Sweet... wind taste test was not even given in small glasses like most tasting are. Tiny plastic cups put in paper bag to take out to apicnic table up a steep hill. Samples were not to my liking at all.. too much competition in the area, that has their acttogether, to ever revisit this winery.. Read more

We went here a couple of weeks ago and had a great time! They had live music and picnic tables and you could walk through the... vineyards. It's pretty small which is nice for a small group. The wines were really good and had a large variety. I liked thatyou could do a flight of any wine of your choosing. We did the flights and then chose which wines we wanted in bottles. Theydidn't have much in the way of food, just some snacks but they were all very good. Got some cheese and chocate which went greatwith the wine. Would definitely go back! Read more

Best place for a picnic in all of western Maryland. Clean family sized tables with full sized umbrellas. The staff here makes... you feel like family! Try some of the new snack and cheese selections if you forgot your picnic. And above all if it's warm outget at LEAST one bottle of the Vidal Blanc , Probably the best white I've ever tasted...
