Ordered online and the portion size for carbonara spaghetti was generous, though would have been better with more bacon and... mushrooms. Most of the dish was completely noodles below the top layer. Packaging was ok, portions are good, honey yuzu soda wasn't good, chicken Katsu was ok and pork Katsu was ok. Food was mediocre.

This is a cute little place with a good mix of flavors to choose from. If you're in a group and you dont mind sharing then order... a few different items. That way you get to try a bit of everything. The restaurant is cute. There are not too many seats. The food is OK. I ordered the unagi rice burger, which was a little... disappointing. The rice patty was probably made in advance. It was not heated up all the way through, and it is a bit dry andhard in the middle. My husband ordered a burger and upgraded fries to fusion Japanese fries for +$6.00. It is not that differentfrom regular fries. It has a bit of seaweed and fish eggs, and just drizzled with mayo. We ordered a crepe for dessert, but itwas so frozen. Pay a bit more, and get better food. We have been there a few times already and haven't been disappointed yet. Price is a bit... above average than the other Asian eateries but definitely worth it. 3/10 Visited on 23rd June2018. Saturday. Black Bear is selling discount coupon on Groupon and that make me consider to give... black Bear a try. We make reservation at 6:00pm on a Saturday. The resturant become full within 20 minutes so reservation isrecommended. We told them we are using Groupon and they said is ok. In about 10 minutes we are ready to order and they told us10 items are not included on the Groupon deal! It was not on the Groupon deal when we purchase the deal!! And of course what Iwant to order is not included on the deal....... Very disappointed to start. So i picked egg omelette with rice and i did notenjoy. The pasta dishes were very tasty. Ordered soft shell crab spaghetti and sea urchin and crab spaghetti. They were done al-dente,... the flavours were very good. Also ordered K-pop(3 skewers of fried chicken) with wasabi mayo(Monday special $5) it was verycrunchy and juicy. Since I had a Groupon, I also ordered a pineapple and pork belly rice burger. It was different, did not knowwhat to expect. But I also enjoyed it. The pineapple was sweet and the pork belly very juicy and tasty, the rice was used as thebuns and had a crunchy layer to hold the rice together. It was something to experience at least once.
