The food was amazing. And our male servers service was on point. Don?t like the sauce on the burger. Which I just tasted the... burger more but still was amazing. Same with the ribs. The sauce for them was honestly the best I?ve ever eaten. Definitelyrecommend, and would definitely come back. I have to try more items on the menu. Read more
Food has always been good albeit a bit pricey, but if you?re looking for a little more upscale place for food with great service... this is the place. They?ve brought back their daily special and that particular Monday was the max and cheese if you ordered abeverage. We also ordered the smash burger which is always delicious and their fried chicken. Happy they let us substitute theMac and cheese on the chicken dish with a salad. One of the best places to grab a bite in Markham! We ordered the Southern Platter and it was perfect for sharing between two... people. It was a great way to sample a little bit of different items on the menu, and we were so happy with the selection andamount of food for each part of it. It was all delicious! We topped it off with Cathy's Warm Banana Chocolate Toffee Cake, whichis a MUST HAVE if you come here. The berry/mint/lime mojitos were tasty and refreshing as well. We will be back plenty moretimes! We have been this Markham location few times. Convenient location. Small plaza with many parkings. Made the reservation online... one day in advance. Not many customers on Thursday evening. Very nice ambiance and vibes. Spacious and clean. Really liked theirpatio set up, too bad their biggest table would not fit our party of 7. They have portable heaters. Great customer service.Staff was attentive and very friendly. Food served warm but a bit slow and their portion was decent. Price was ok. We tried theSouthern platter which came with Buttermilk fried chicken, BBQ pork back ribs, BBQ beef croquettes, L.A. mac & cheese, chickengravy, creamy coleslaw, pickled cucumbers. Their BBQ pork back ribs and the buttermilk fried chicken were perfectly seasoned andvery delicious. Kids loved their fish and chips and mussels. We ordered 2 orders of each and they finished them all. Their macand cheese was so creamy & cheesy. The garden salad was amazingly fresh and yummy. We loved the dressing very much. I came here for brunch with a friend on a Saturday. It wasn't very busy so we didn't have to wait long for a seat. I ordered the... Eggs Benny. It was 3/5, good but nothing wow; just passable. Service was great but I wish the food was better. Price iscomparable to other brunch places. I've been to Smash for dinner before and find the dinner menu much tastier than brunchoptions. We went for their first Mother?s Day Brunch since COVID and my whole table really enjoyed the food. A bit pricey but nice for a... special breakfast. We had their garden salad, bbq brisket hash and the mamas brunch platter (croissants & homemade marmalade notpictured). Highlight was the smoked salmon. The place was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. The service for great. It's a nice thing when the comfort food... options are less but they are all awesome. There are various options to try from too and they have a unique line of food alreadyplanned if you can't make up your mind too.
