Definitely one of the better authentic Mexican restaurants! ???? ...The place was clean, the food was very fresh & affordable, &... eating there were Mexicans & non-Mexicans alike. The place is a little hidden on a side street & only has a few tables & parkingspots, but it totally hit the spot & will definitely return despite it being a little far from where I live! Read more

My first time here. I had the Tuesday special (pic w/green sauce) & was delicious. I received some very good news while there &... never forget this experience. I will be back to try more entrees. Read more

Fresh chips and homemade warm red salsa. Everything here is phenomenal. And for it to be homemade and fast is an understatement.... Routine customers! Prices are also reasonable. We paid 25 for 2 people and the food is delicious and authentic. Read more

Came here looking for a small, authentic Mexican restaurant. Stopped by on a Friday evening and about half of the 10 tables... were full when I arrived. Was able to pick any table I want and server immediately came to take the drink orders. Ordered theQuesabirrias and the Sopes, but I also wanted to try their Torta Ahogada as there's not many places that have Torta Ahogada inSan Antonio. Food came out fresh in about 15 minutes. The quesabirrias were great, especially with the consome that was spicybut not too spicy. The birria, melted cheese, and consome were a perfect combination. The sopes were equally good as the masawas flavorful with a nice texture. On the way out, ordered a few bakery items and pan dulce that are at the register. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. I preferred the cookies and fruit items more than the cajeta ones, but all were good. Read more

Service, food and cafe de olla were some of the best I?ve had in a long time. I tend to eat breakfast 3-4 times in Mexican... restaurants and most places are disappointing but this place was a great start to my day. We tried quedabirrias, barbacoa, andchilaquiles verdes. Clean, flavorful and a great experience overall. Read more
