Been a very long time since I've been here, but the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable when it came to menu items or... suggestions! We ordered a bottle of champagne for 4ppl and all of us decided on the the chicken N' Waffles, which were betterthan I expected-from the tender n seasoned chicken to fluffy waffle, we definitely made a great decision Read more

First, this has to be one of the cleanest diners that I have ever been in! The whole place is spotless from top to bottom, and... it absolutely shines! Second, they take their Covid protocols very seriously so respect their seating expectations and wearyour mask!! The good is pretty good. It's dinner food with some unique twists- the breakfast tacos come in a hard shell for atwist and are delicious! The staff was welcoming and very friendly despite having every open seat taken. When they asked ifthere was anything else they could do for you, they meant it! Definitely give this Loop gem a try! Read more

Love the decor here. I specifically wore my peacock shirt and peacock???? sweater for this visit and not one of the 3 employees... noticed it. I ordered the blueberry lemon pancakes which were ok. Not as good as my own cakes. Bacon was well done how I likeit. My husband liked his breakfast potatoes and tacos. Service was fast. When we went they had us order and pay 1st then find aseat. My partner, his daughter and I had breakfast at Peacock Diner in the Delmar Loop over the weekend. The food was good. I have... no complaints. The diner appeared clean and decorated very nicely. I love that they featured old school toys in the glass wallcases by the tables. That was nostalgic. This was my first time eating there. Upon entry you do have to wear a mask. You alsohave to order and pay for your food before you're seated. This process didn't take long. Our waiter was running the show beingthe only wait staff present, but he held it down until more people came in. He was efficient and speedy. This establishment iswheelchair accessible as well and family friendly. Overall our experience was great and I would return for anothermeal. #Tonetta Read more

The atmosphere was really cool, and the wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Sadly, I found the food underwhelming. I... got the burger with gouda, bacon and spicy BBQ sauce with onion rings. The bacon was way overcooked, and the sauce wasn't allthat flavorful. The onion rings were the same quality as a fast food place. I'd like to go back for breakfast and see if that'swhere their talent truly lies. Read more
