I understand a lot of places are short staffed these days. But 3 different employees looked at me on several occasions and... ignored me while we waited to be seated. No one said a word. After 15 minutes I had to walk over and talk to the bartender to beseated. The food took a while, which is fine again I get lack of staff may do that. But it was dry and seemed like all of it hadbeen heated in the microwave. All three meals the plates were so hot we couldn't touch them for 5 minutes. A definite sign thefood had all been microwaved. Literally TERRIBLE! Waited at the door for 15 minutes with our being acknowledged and then walked to the bar to find the manager... she instructed me to wait a minute. I stood at the door for another 10 minutes before walking to the bar and seating myself.Once at the bar did not receive a hi or even a water for 15 additional minutes and when I asked the bartender how long shelooked at me and said ?I?m sure you can see I?m busy? Our server, I believe her name was Tiffany, made our experience great. I think there may have been some issues in the kitchen,... possibly understaffed bc some tables had been sitting for a while before their food arrived which was not long before we gotours. Pretty bad compared to other locations I?ve been to. - very slow service - waters were not brought until 10 min AFTER the... appetizer came - my steak took forever and was cooked medium RARE instead of WELL - my brother was given the wrong side for hismeal, instead of French fries he got green beans - there were no silverware but instead plastic cutlery. - loud drunkies in thebackground not letting my family eat in peace; nothing was done about them and their chaos. Our server was absolutely the best! He may suggestions on what to eat. Our food came out hot and in record time. He made sure... that our drinks stayed full. Went to this Applebee's near University Square & it was nice. The location is in a great spot. You can definitely see it from... the road. The food was nice and hot. I got a sampler platter with boneless wings, mozzarella sticks, spinach dip, etc. on it &my friend got a chicken breast with shrimp & potatoes. The prices were fair too. It was only $38. Both drinks were not up to parthough, both were watery. My friend ended up asking for a totally different one altogether. Overall, we will return. Read more
I wish I could give this location zero stars. I entered the restaurant with my mom in hopes of having a nice mother/daughter... dinner date and we waited for over 20 minutes before anyone even came to sit us down. Mind you, the business only had about 3tables with customers. It was more workers than customers. Then when they finally come to seat us, they again took over 20minutes without checking on us for drinks, appetizers, etc. Workers were walking past us, chit chatting away but couldn't helpthe customers they just seated. Horrible customer service. After 20 minutes we became fed up and ended up leaving to get food atPiada instead. I wouldn't recommend anybody to waste their time here. Read more
