Buyer beware. This is how much cheese dip you get for $12.99, plus tax comes out to $15.11. We even asked them if this is the... right portion and they said it was. We've ordered cheese dip to go before and there's normally more in there. The only reasonthey aren't getting 1 star is because the cheese dip is good. Very disappointing. If this is the true amount, next time we'lljust buy the Tostitos queso dip at the store for a third of the price. Definitely not "affordable" food as the owner claims. Read more
Had lunch here, got me the beef enchiladas and chicken flautas combo. Ample room inside plus they have a patio if you wish to... dine out there. Only thing is that the portion was tiny compared to what I would normally get in other states. Flavor was goodand the waitress was attentive. Read more
We really enjoyed our meal. We will definitely be going back. We witnessed a very difficult customer arguing with the staff... about her bill, then accusing them of keeping her credit card. The staff was totally professional and very respectful with thecustomer and resolved the issue. Well done! Read more
This was our first time here since before 2020 and we were reminded that this is our favorite Mexican restaurant and our... favorite restaurant period in all of Tacoma. It's a little on the pricey side when we're accustomed to eating at taco trucks butit is so worth it. Street tacos are perfect, refried beans are the best anywhere and the chips are great. Plus the drinks arefantastic -- and they make Virgin cocktails for the kids. Really my whole family loves this place. Read more
Great restaurant... poor service. I am from this area, but moved away many years ago. I am back to visit family and came here on... a recommendation. We had a party of 9 that kind of staggered in over the course of about 45 minutes. Our server (Estela) wasvery nonchalant and not very attentive from the beginning. When the second half of our group showed up, they ordered food anddrinks. The food showed up before the drinks, and was placed on a nearby table, as the server went off to get the drinks. Shebrought the drinks over and THEN got food to deliver, that had been sitting on the other table for close to 5 minutes. We werethere for a couple of hours and didn't get much attention. When we were almost ready to leave, one of our party orderedsomething to go... it took over 35 minutes to get a simple order, and the sour cream and guacamole that was ordered was notthere. When asked about it, the server nodded and started to go to another table. Our party said "excuse me, can you finish withus before you move on to another table". Estela (our server) turned and looked at her and actually "huffed" and walked off tothe register and took about 10 minutes before she brought the missing sour cream/guacamole and our bills. Needless to say,Estela was not tipped well because of her attitude. A tip is not guaranteed... it is something extra that patrons give for goodservice. Food was really good and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Just really poor service kind of soured the night. Woulddefinitely go here again... but would NOT accept Estela as our server. Read more
Been wanting to try this place and finally did! The food and menu selections are fantastic! Great Happy Hour menu as well. ... Portions are big so be ready to take home leftovers. Staff is very friendly and the service was great. Definitely a place to goback to. Read more
