The best Indian food I had in past several months. Food and service is excellent, freshly cooked meals hit the spot

Friend and I went in hungry for lunch after hiking Baldy on a Sunday in August. We were seated quickly, and we each started with... a Mango Lassi. It felt great, pretty tasty and helped us cool right off. Then we had the full plate of tandoori chickenappetizer to share, and loved it. The chutney served alongside was adequate and delicious too. Then we had the lamb biryani withraita which could have been better. Friend was the biryani expert and he felt the rice should be cooked more. I felt the sameabout the meat. I had the kheer and it was good. The to-go box they gave us for the remainder biryani was quite small, which wasunexpected. If you're going for a regular meal, do not order this much. We came here by happenstance and were very pleased that we stopped. Awesome service by Gautam and staff taking care of seniors... and dietary restrictions. Food was simply awesome. Food was good and fresh. They cooked to order. I got the shrimp tandoori and chicken tikki Masala. They were both delicious. ... The tandoori had the best chutney sauce to go with it! Omg. I was lied to about being able to dine in by the person who greeted me at the door. I came in at 2:15 pm and was told that I... could not dine in, that it was to-go only. After I used the restroom I asked another person when they were open for dine in andhe told me until 3 for lunch. The place looked nice and authentic and I was looking forward to eating there and possibly addingit to my list of regular spots, but now I will never know if it’s any good or go back.
