Until today I was a loyal customer of this location. I walk at Watkins Park 3-4 times weekly and have to pass it on my way home.... FOR SEVERAL MONTHS I have watched the employees struggle with blenders that don?t work, running out of various size cups, lids,and other vital supplies. HOW CAN YOU RUN A SMOOTHIE KING WITH NO RUNNING BLENDERS? This location also has problems maintainingstaff. I decided after stopping there today and boring only one employee trying to make smoothies on one working blender and 10smoothies to makes head of me, I?VE HAD ENOUGH!!!! I WILL SUPPORT A BUSINESS WHOSE OWNER TAKES PRIDE IN THEIR BUSINESS,MAINTAINS THEIR EQUIPMENT, AND VALUES THEIR EMPLOYEES, & CUSTOMERS. This Smoothie King site owner has exhibited none of these. IAM BOYCOTTING THIS LOCATION (***Watkins Park, Upper Marlboro, MD) and ASK ALL TO DO THE SAME. I will be driving 5+ miles out ofmy way to support the Bowie Town Ctr location, at least for now. This store needs quite a bit of improvement! A thorough cleaning, refresher on customer service/professionalism and how to... service customers in a timely and efficient manner. Almost every time I go here this is an extensive wait based on the number ofcustomers in the store. Most times there is only ONE employee out front working. I have never seen any management present. Itappears that the owner/manager(s) are not interested in the presentation and quality of service that is provided at thislocation. It?s pretty sad. Read more

Very disappointing service. The individuals working were barely moving. One of them was on her cell texting while cleaning ice... out of the freezer. There was no urgency nor interest in service. There was no line yet I?ve been here for 15 minutes waitingfor TWO smoothies. Whomever is the manager at this location really needs to work closer with their employees. Reallydisappointing. Officially My FAVORITE Smoothie King! The nice young lady at the counter walked me through using my app to save money via the... 548 points I had collected over my addi...I mean, habit. Lol 548 points worth of delicious Lemon Ginger Spinach (with myfavorite enhancers) AND she was the only one to help a brother out!! ???????????????????????? She was my hero today!! Read more

This Smoothie King needs some help! Every time I come here, I wait a long time when there are only 1-2 customers in the store.... They are extremely slow and lack customer service. The smoothies lack taste- watered down, no taste at all. The place lackenergy and decor. The workers look unkempt, dirty, and unprofessional. Takes too long. What's the point of ordering ahead if you still gotta arrive and wait another 15 minutes after your order is... supposed to be finished. For example, there were 9 customers and 4 employees. Why did the line not move and no one was servedfor 10 whole minutes. It took another 6 minutes for 2 people to leave. Then the advertisement was incorrect one day. I was toldI would be refunded and never was.... Read more

Like so many have said, this is the worst Smoothie King! You are better off taking the extra drive to the one in Bowie Town... center. I called to place an order and I was told to order online, proceeded to do that. I reach the store and they did notreceive the order because of some issue about online ordering. The attendant told me she was going to make my order right away;then another one comes to tell me it will be a while because they have to make 4 orders before mine. I responded back that, thatis s problem if my order is already late, and I should just stand here and wait for you to attend to others that came in afterme. To that she responds, "Do you still want it?" A simple 'I apologize for the wait' could have made things better. They lackcustomer service and whoever their manager is needs more training also. They are always out of something...all the time! Withall the comments and responses to the comments from Smoothie King you would think they would have improved by now. Read more
