December 1/22. We had a long day on a flight from Alberta to Halifax. Our elderly friends picked us up and we decided to stop... in at Lefty's (we'd had an excellent meal here for the first time back in September) We noted the website said 'open 'till 9:00p.m.', however, we arrived at 7:50 p.m. and found out the restaurant would be closing at 8:00 p.m. BUT we were welcomed in,placed at a window seat and not once did we feel pressured to 'hurry up' from anyone!! I would never eat there again found a hair instead of making a new order of mushroom they threw them back in the deep fryer when... I asked if that is what the did she lied and said no but you can see that is what they did. If I did not have to give a star Iwould not. Did not even give me anything off. Read more
