Really late coming to this party but better late than never as they say. We went to Little Jo's for fish when our usual place... was closed for a mechanical issue and I remembered seeing a Fresh Haddock sign on Jo's door. The fish was fresh and perfectlycooked. The fries are frozen but are good quality and again properly cooked. Quantity was generous and prices good. Withthat good result, we decided to try their donairs and a pizza (Greek). They make a good pie. It won't make Salvatore's run forcover, but it also doesn't cost anywhere near what Sal's costs. Toppings were good quality, generous and priced right. Thedonair was as good as it gets. We liked that it wasn't drowned in sauce as some places are fond of doing. You could taste themeat and it was good. This will be our go-to for pizza, donairs and fish and chips from now on. Read more

Ordered a Donair and poutine tonight. Delivery arrived within 30 minutes. Poutine was good - solid average-esk poutine. The... Donair however was EXCELLENT. Very well spiced meat, crispy burnt ends, and a very good Donair sauce. My all time favoriteDonair is Ronnie?s in Dartmouth and this one gave it a run for its money. Read more

Went there because I promised my kid pizza and this was the first joint we saw. Will come back on purpose. Slightly tangy sauce... (would prefer a little tangier personally, but still quite good), super fluffy crust, not greasy. Overall, great pizza. Read more

Update July 2021: decided for a change and tried Lil Jo?s again - still no regrets, great tasting pizza and an interesting side... story to attest to customer service: Ordered a black olive and mushroom pizza with Italian seasonings - pizza was delivered bythe nicest pizza delivery guy within 30 mins (they said 45mins) however it had Italian sausage. No big deal, a mistake anyonecould have made (I?m vegetarians so I wouldn?t eat it) Called them up and told them nicely about the error and they said they?dsend another pizza (told me to toss the other one). Now Murphy?s law will always dictate the worst will happen in any case; thenicest pizza guy was late by like 45 mins but he came- apparently he had a flat tire and had to change it (dude was filthy lol). Very appreciative I offered him a drink and a slice (he declined). I go to open it and it?s green olives Best pizza albeitwrong but totally worth the wait. Sauce is tasty (more so than the other local shops) - my friends came over and said theItalian sausage pizza was really good! Embrace the mistakes - you may be surprised by the good in them Came here on a whim tograb a cheese slice with pop$5 - but no go!
