I don't like giving bad reviews, but.. the chairs were all filthy, rice was burnt, even the sauce jar brought to us by the staff... had old rice sitting on top of it. This place would have so much potential if only it had a really REALLY deep cleaningthroughout. Read more

The mini egg rolls, rice and spare ribs are super yummy here. Really did not enjoy the beef and broccoli or the general tao... chicken however; it was very slimy tasting sadly.. the restaurant really needs to focus on their cleaning component. The tablesare always quite dirty still, and god forbid you get a plum sauce bottle because the tops are gunked up really bad and normallyhave food on them. Even the salt and pepper shakers are dirty. I think overall cleanliness is super important in maintaining theoverall look of this place. However you want some tasty egg rolls - this is 1000% this place. My daughter picked up our takeout order for our dinner and it was the BEST Chinese food we ever had.

We got takeout and chose five separate items instead of a fixed meal. It was all super fresh and delicious, especially the honey... garlic ribs (YUM!). Looking forward to trying more items. Read more

Great value! Good amount of food for the cost and their beef and broccoli is the best I have ever had. I have dined at Chinese... restaurants all across Canada and this is one of my favorites. Dine in isn't why locals love this place. It's the good friendlyservice and fantastic value on food. It's fantastic having a Chinese restaurant like this so close to home and we get take out alot of take out here. Don't believe the bad reviews. Give these guys a try and grab some take out. Take out order was on time. The rest of the experience was gross. I got home 5 Min's after picking up my order right at the 25... minute mark. Got home, and it was a big bag of slime. The containers are non-biodegradable and difficult to dispose of andeverything was just soaked in gravy. Pretty much had to wear gloves to disassemble everything. There was such a huge amount ofslime leaking out of one of the food containers, that they had double wrapped it in a Ziploc container. Picture a Styrofoamcontainer soaking in gravy wrapped in a weird plastic bag in am additional brown paper bag. Most other restaurants have solvedthis problem by using disposable plastic bowls with sealable lids but apparently that's too good for Tantallon. Read more
