This subway location has probably been my least favorite. Inconsistent, and 'thrown together' subs. On multiple occasions... I've ordered light on the sauce and it was literally dripping out while eating. Two occasions I found hair in my food. Won'tbe ordering from this location again. Read more
There were two artists working tonight and they were absolutely run off their feet. I believe one was a sheikh and he did our... sandwiches. He was so apologetic for the wait. Thing is that I work in retail. I understood totally. These guys were goingNON-STOP. They did a really good job and there were no errors and they were like a well-oiled machine. But man, i hate to seeworkers spread so thin. Obviously they could manage it but they needed another person. Great work guys. Thank you so much. Read more
Because I can't give a ZERO Location: SUBWAY - Upper Tantallon NS Date/Time: 19 Jun 2020 @ 18:03 Situation: Went to Subway... with my nephew. Pulling up to the Subway when I was confronted with this sign in the main door (and also wanting to socialdistance), I proceeded through the Drive-thru. Arriving at the order speaker, where we informed that the drive-thru was notoperational and to come in (contrary to their signage) There we limited to no restrictions as to the number of people in at anytime (which was exceeding the current provincial social distancing guidelines). COVID-aside, was the disorganized chaos thatfollowed. From poorly trained staff (I blame Management and not the individual for this one, as it was very evident that theemployees were struggling just coping with the standard procedures and shear number of dinner clients) to Managers (or at leastsupervisor) who was either unable or unfit to lead an escape from a wet paper bag, let alone mentoring a junior cashier (UNSAT). The sandwich maker(s) were on "auto" and not paying attention to what was actually being ordered. During the COVID we havebeen very supportive of local establishments and are much more tolerant to delays caused by the very necessary safety measuresput into place. This was NOT the main issue with this particular establishment. This was a case of a poor manager who had nocontrol, no leadership capability, no wherewithal abilities or acceptable procedures to process any influx of customers . Brand new Subway with polite and conscientious staff. Open 24 hours including a drive through. Great spot for breakfast anytime... of day. Tasty potatoes/hash browns but never cooked/heated enough. Will ask for them to be well done next time. Free tastycoffee on the weekend seems to be a special offer right now. Read more
We went through the drive-thru this evening at 4:19pm and the man on the speaker was very rude to us. He would not allow us to... choose what veggies we wanted in our wrap and bowls. He became argumentative until my wife explained over and over that shecomes here regularly and that she does get to pick her vegetables. Based on his poor attitude alone, I would recommend avoidingthis place until his attitude is remedied. I would be ashamed of myself if I was his boss. Read more
