Went Oct.1st, Food was great, waitress was absolutely amazing. Shopped for kid toys afterwards and a worker stood next to us for... a few minutes, I?m assuming she thought we were going to steal? Just weird, so I paid for my daughter?s two toys and left. Assoon as I walked to the register, the worker walked behind the registers, so that told me she was indeed watching us. Normally Iwould say something but it was best I leave. So to that worker, I don?t steal, nor am I broke. ???? Will definitely eat hereagain but won?t shop in the gift side anymore. Read more
This restaurant is awesome. The staff is nice and the food is great. We were there today and the server kept our drinks filled... and brought us everything we asked for. And to my great surprise, when the bill came, it was hardly anything. 3 of us ate andthe entire bill was $36. That's what I pay for one person at Red Lobster. In this era of inflation, Cracker Berreral has beatentheir competition. Hats off to them. Please eat at Cracker Barrel. A true gem. Read more
When did this place get so good?! They've added some things to the menu, specials that are limited to certain days of the week,... lots of good food! They also continue to get better at, home style country cooking. If you go, ask for Waylon in the evenings.He's one of the best hosts I've had in a long time, AND he makes the best loaded potatoes, iced coffees, etc... Love it! Read more
Got right in no wait. Food delicious and service excellent. Had to take home my dinner I couldn't finish it. You get lots of... food. Price is right. Love looking around at the things in the store. Like the old time candy and pop. I had country fried steakw/ mashed taters and gravy (sawmill) gravy,green beans and baby carrots. Delicious! Will return there. Great place to go. This location is awesome! They get 5 stars for customer service and their attentiveness to their customers. Friendly and... plesantly happy. If all Cracker Barrels can be like this it would make the atmosphere not so gloomy. Its already dark enough inthe restaurant. The sunshine was in this place. Super disappointing, chicken & dumplings was watery chicken under dumplings with incredibly thick gravy. Burnt mac & cheese... bits, messed up our orders in multiple ways: wrong kind of tea, forgot part of the order, left veggies off of the whole meal,biscuits were sad and dry. Was passing through on my home from a vacation in Virginia. Wanted something fast. I was seated right away and a waitress came... by soon after. Told her that I didn't need a menus, since all I wanted was a couple of biscuits with gravy and sausage. Alsowanted a cup of coffee. Normally the coffee is delivered first, but not this time. My meal came out via the waitress, but nocoffee. I assume that she was going back to get it, but after awhile I had to hale her down. She apologized and brought me thecoffee out pronto. Never did get a refill though. My meal was very good as it normally is at Cracker Barrel, but the gravy wasvery thin in consistency. Was sort of like that of buttermilk. Tasted just fine, but was very thin. I left my tip, paid my billand headed down the highway. Read more
