2nd one i have had to stop at while in the area. Both swamped with people. Facilities at both aren?t enough for the traffic... they get. Both had a very large selection of foods. The Deluxe Chicken Sandwich was freaking AWESOME! Apparently they givetheir employees the same stuff Wawa because i have yet to be in a Royal Farms where the Associates aren?t among the nicestpeople! This is our favorite Royal Farms. I've earned so many free coffees, and pieces of chicken over the years. Their gas prices are... usually better than anywhere but in town Damascus. The always clean bathrooms have been a lifesaver on many a trip. Our childsnumber one stop for hot chocolate. Usually when we take a night drive or something this is the only place open as it's still24hrs. I hit it up to get a coffee since it's ground right there and I take mine black, and my partner gets his usual Starbucksup around the corner. The chicken is really good, not as crispy as I usually like it, but everyone in my family says I like"jerky chicken". The rest of the food is so so, but the spicy tenders...oh man that's what I'm talking about. It's a decent kickand if you dip it in the Chesapeake sauce, you're in fried food heaven. We usually get the around midnight crew and they arereally kind and awesome. They get a laugh out of how much my kid likes the car wash and have even given us a free one every nowand then because of their enthusiasm. I've seen the poor staff be completely overwhelmed and it's not really fair to judge them.Now they have a self check out area but before these folks had to fry chicken, ring up gas, and keep the lobby clean. It's a lotwhen it's busy. I love this place and don't know what I'd do without it really. Get the ROFO rewards card, you get free stuff soeasy and if you link it to your bank as a payment card all gas is 10c off. Read more
Sandwich I had was good and made in a timely manner, everything was clean inside and the staff was friendly but they didn't have... any zip ties! Thought that would be standard for a gas station. Read more
An oasis on the highway of life. Good coffee, decent gas prices, car wash vacuum too. Tasty chicken if the right chef is cooling... abd home fries to die for. Pkenty of snacks. Milk. Lotto and smokes to go. Convenience when on the road. Get Rofo card formember deals. Good luck. Read more
The attitude of your employees in the food service area is terrible. Hire people who care about their jobs if they don?t care... let them collect unemployment. The food is consistently bad at this location as well. Please do better Royal Farms. Read more
The chicken is only good if you catch it out of the fryer. Usually its cold. The sides are kept in a refrigerator that they then... throw in the microwave when you order it. It's never hot and fresh. Everytime I've ordered food they're also always out ofsomething. You never get what you want. I will drive the four miles up the road to the Wawa from here on out. Read more
chicken is really good, sides not so much. always have good service when i'm in there for whatever reason. i've also popped in... to use the bathroom and it's never been dirty when i've been there. they have a good stock for gas station snacks, etc. i livein the area but if i were from out of the area, this is the kind of place i'd want to stop on a road trip: gas, bathroom,snacks, bam you're done.
