The food here is so gross! Went there after having a stranger craving for hush puppies and fish. Once I got there, the line was... not very long but we still had to wait 10 - 15 minutes just to reach the drive-in microphone. Next thing, I'm pulling up to thewindow and some weird kid comes to my car for the card which was alright like whatever but then I'm sitting there for anadditional 30 - 40 minutes to get the food. The 2 people behind me actually got there food before me by the way so its hard totell how they organize and manage their orders? Anyways, we get home and the chicken my friend ordered was super rubbery and sheended up only eating a piece or so before just throwing it away. The fish I had ordered was so greasy and almost bitter? Stillended up finishing most of my food before throwing it away because it cost 25 bucks for TWO MEALS?! Chicken was like eating rubber, no hush puppies came with meal. Fish and chips was barely edible. Waited in the drive through... for over 20 minutes and spent $26.00 for these awful meals. Terribly disappointed! Read more
Had my friend take a quick journey to the Douglas Ave Long John Silvers and was very disappointed. When he came back with that... so called food, we were obviously upset. Our lunchtime was thoroughly ruined by what we can only describe as rubbery chicken andfish straight from the grease trap. We didn't receive our hush puppies and the wait took forever. We might as well have gone tothe Long John Silvers on E University Ave, the trip there and back would've taken less time with less disappointment. Read more
Never open hardly now have signs posted dinning room open 12-4 and drive thru 4-6 !! How do they stay in business, what used to... be good place to eat has cratered. I give up last 3 time I have been there closed and every time was during normal businesshours where other businesses were open. Shameful the corporate allows this to ruin such a good restaurant. Last night I was thinking what would taste good for dinner and then I thought Long John silver's,, it was 8:30 though and Long... John silver's closes at 7:00 p.m.! How are you going to run a restaurant and be closed during dinner time? So basically theplace is open from 10:00 until 7:00 just serving lunch? That's too bad because I enjoyed food at Long John silver's, but now Ifind out that they are closing right about the time I get off work. If I could rate it less than one star, I would! Insanely S.L.O.W. service in the drive though. The food was very, very greasy.... Luke warm. Fizzy, watery water...It was allegedly pop. The prices have increased to make it not worth stopping anymore. My billwas $13.14, but I was charged $14.14 by the con artist running the window. (I did not notice the charge difference until I gothome!) This was always a treat to stop at LJS. Not so much any more! Would not recommend, or ever return!!! Read more
Very good hot food. Very busy the day we visited and had to wait in line, but good to eat inside. Considering they need more... help, the staff did an awesome job to make our visit great. Read more
There was an elderly couple in front of us. It was 5 minutes or more before anyone took their order. Then an older staff lady... with a face shield took the order but was rude about it. I felt bad for them. It was freezing cold in the dining area. Food wasgood but that lady needs a class on customer service! Read more
