I rarely write a negative review however I went here for the first time and bought a juice that on the paper menu (only one... available) said $6. My total was over $10 and I asked why the juice rang up as $9.50. The cashier said they raised their pricesand it?s reflected above on the tvs. The tv had no menu just had YouTube tv on. She was young so I didn?t make a big deal it?snot her fault but management needs to train employees to either inform customers on price changes or have a sign. This is a hidden gem off in the corner. I ordered the steak burrito with sweet potato fries. Yes the burrito seemed to be on the... small side... but looks are deceiving as it was really filling. I believe that's called portion control. It's a nice cleanplace with friendly staff! Read more
The food here is very healthy and it tastes like it. Everything is so fresh tasting and the options here are very unique and I... don?t think I could find a bison burger anywhere else in the Des Moines area unless I tried very very hard. This place islocated in the perfect spot across from lifetime fitness in case you wanted to go work out and then have a nice filling mealafterwards. Read more
LOVE the customer service!! A+ for friendliness and super helpful staff! Accommodating too!! They gave us all the information... about the foods. ABSOLUTELY LOVE they have GF + DF choices. Great coffee, but they need a DECAF choice + ceramic cups. Plastickills the ambience of a great cup o' joe. The hash was a bit light on flavor and spice. PB + JELLY pancakes were good. I cannot wait to try everything on this menu, but it will be hard to not get this Ninja sandwich. The piece of Ahi Tuna was a... big as my hand, cooked perfectly, (Med Rare) and outstanding price. Hubby had the protein pancakes. Both of our meals, plus 2protein shakes was $44.00, and the shakes were huge! I did not work out this day, and still lost 2 pounds, with this as my cheatmeal..... needless to say, it will be very hard to not want to come here every weekend. Wildly impressed with this place. After 20+ minutes of waiting for our 3 meals after ordering in an empty restaurant, 2 of our meals did not match the description... on the menu. I had to ask for the quinoa, cucumber, and egg that came on the SHRDD salad, and my child's chocolate chip pancakeshad no chocolate chips. If you need salt it is very course salt in a regular salt shaker (good luck). The prices are also highernow than the online pictures of the menu show. The only reason it got 2 stars is that the food was fresh and my daughter likedthe pancakes. Read more
