Made a last min. stop for a quick bite to eat not realizing they were 10 min. shy of closing. The staff welcomed us in & allowed... us to order w/o displaying any type of irritation which is not always the case. Our food came out timely with correct itemsordered, perfect proportions and everything hot & delicious. So I give your establishment & staff 5 stars & if I could I'd addeven more stores!!!! 10/25/22 roughly 7:45 p.m. order number 140 or 40. The food is almost always good 90% of the time. This time the flour tacos... were 1/2 the size I normally get. Mine had hardly any meat this time. Hardly any lettuce or cheese almost 50% of the whole thingwas flour shell. I'm disappointed because I only come to tasty tacos when I wanna buy takeout. I was excited for a good mealwhen I got home I'm not even full after three. I don't know if they are cutting corners later at night but if the quality can'tbe consistent throughout the whole day you might as well close after dinner rush instead of letting people waste money on whatisn't your normal product. It depends on which one you go to from my experience. The one by the capital is the best! I haven't been to all of them.... Southside is pretty good, I try to avoid the one off Mills Civic Parkway. I think it's all in who's making your food. Some putmore effort and pride into their preparation than others. Read more
Always love the "original" soft shell taco. The epitomy of comfort food! Don't miss adding a big portion of salsa to your taco... which is in a nice plastic bottle at each table. Read more
The flour tacos are fantastic! They are large & filling. The sides are definitely perfect to share (we got the loaded... tots). The service was quick, but they were not necessarily the best at answering menu questions when we were ordering. Read more
I hate to leave 2 stars but I have to. I am a huge huge fan of tasty tacos & have been for years. We ate at this one many times.... Always good. All of them always good. But this time the meat was weird, always get steak tacos, the meat was a different cutthan it usually is. It was even cut differently, it was terrible. The taste was even off. I'm not sure if they used a cheapercut or what, it's too bad. Read more
Our first visit was today. The best part was the food - I liked both the Chicken Corn Taco and Chicken Wrap (served with smokey... BBQ sauce). The taste was great for both of them and both were served with generous portions of cheese. The chips were good,but the guacamole was average at best to my taste. Beyond the food, be prepared for an average fast-food experience with notable service. You wait in line to place your order at the counter, then wait for your number to be called and pick up yourfood at the counter. The restaurant was clean but basic and the men's rest room appeared to have no heat...was very cold onthis cold day.
