Came in with my boys for breakfast. Waited five minutes to be seated never saw a hostess. Asked bar tender if we should just get... a seat, she said she would seat us. Waited a few more minutes she didn?t come so we left. If it takes that long to get seated Idon?t want to imagine how long it takes to order and get drinks/food. Not going back. Read more
Looking for a traditional style restaurant? Look somewhere else. We went in expecting the typical "Here are your seats. Your... server will be with you shortly," experience but were disappointed to find they've changed concepts to order as soon as you walkin the door, aka fast food. Personally, I'm a fan of a business that supports employees so everyone can make money and getahead. If the place is short staffed, I also understand that and would expect maybe closing off part of your dining area to makeit more manageable for those who ARE working, not straight up eliminating positions and changing your concept to that of a fastfood chain. I think the part that really sealed the deal for me was when we waited so long for our food (a burger, salad andtwo kids meals) that my burger was less than warm when it arrived. The only reason I ate it is because inwas starving and didn'twant to wait for a fresh one. Admittedly, I've never been a fan of Wahlburgers because I find the food mildly boring anddefinitely not worth the price for what you get. I miss the old Hy Vee Market Grilles that have been replaced with Wahlburgerand hope some day they will make a comeback. Until then, I won't be coming back. Sorry not sorry. Read more
Freaking amazing burger I should have took a picture before I ate half of it but oh well you get the gist
Oh man, I should have looked at the reviews. Don't waste your time. I don't think they are doing the -kids eat free- option now... either. We lucked out because it's definitely NOT worth the money. $17 for a two patty burger that had enough grease that my bunfell apart. Flavor was eh. Son wouldn't eat the Mac n cheese and when I tried it the flavor was like watered down cheese sauce.Go to Zombie burger at the mall instead and you'll get better food! Sat there for over a half hour and no one came to ask how mymeal was or if we needed anything. Saw multiple staff on the other side of the tables we were at. Finally had to ask if I had toget my own to-go box. The young guy who brought it was nice but the damage was already done. We were THE ONLY ONES THEREEATING. Come on Hyvee. You can do better. Once again I came here and there is no one to help and no one knows what?s going on. It a shame to because the food is usually... pretty good. This time I brought my brother who came in from Georgia and the lady that waited on us (older lady, white hair)didn?t even want to do her job. My family and I went to Wahlburgers for lunch yesterday and all I can say is, that was the absolute worst burger I?ve ever had.... It was soggy and had no flavor. It was a complete waste of money. It was dirty. And where you get your drinks, there were nolids, it was sticky and gross. Also the flavors were out. I will never dine again or eat anything from Wahlburgers. Confusing set up. Upon your entrance there is no one to Greet you. A Bartender tells you to go outside of the Restaurant,... place and pay for your order, then come back in and seat yourself. You pay $11.00 for a Very Lack Luster Burger! Where's theSeasoning (Salt & Pepper)?! Was Expecting some Flavor, but found none. Your Money will be Spent better elsewhere like a Mom &Pop Burger Joint that takes Pride in their Food. Definitely missing the Mark, Mark, on your Family Statement. It does not feelinviting nor does it feel like I'm family. It feels like you're at an Inexpensive Fast Food Place that does not want you thereat all. I could not have been more disappointed with the food or service we received the morning of 10/8/22. Everything ordered was... cold?Nutella Banana Waffle, biscuits and gravy, over medium eggs, pancakes, and bacon all cold. We also found multiple hairs inour meals. The waitress was missing for most of the dining experience. After placing our order, we had to fill our coffee cupstwice. I had to ask two other servers for the bill and send the assigned server to the table. In doing so it took 10 minutes forour server to come out with the check and another 5 minutes to return with our bill. With a ?small employee discount? offbecause of the cold food. The hostess was the only bright spot; she sat us promptly and got our coffee and water uponarrival. The restaurant was not busy, seemed fully staffed, and other patrons had to go to the waitress area to fill theirdrinks/coffee too. Bad service all around. I would strongly urge those considering dining here to look elsewhere. Read more
