If you like Mexican food, you will love Mi Jalisco! Small, out of the way, and simply good food. The service is immediate and... the servers are friendly. The food came out quickly and was hot (temperature) and tasty. We each enjoyed taco plates; 3 softtacos with delicious filings and rice and beans sides. The chips and salsa were delicious and fresh. So, if you're on your wayhome from shopping and don't feel like cooking, drop into the Mi Jalisco in Urbanna and you will leave full and satisfied. Plus,no dishes to wash when you get home! Read more

Amazing food and moderately priced. I?m used to mediocre Mexican but this was incredible! Great service too, very fast. It was... busy, especially for a Thursday; I noticed a lot of people picking up takeout. I got the Texanas Quesadilla and my son for thebeef and chicken nachos and ate TWO servings of Spanish rice. And the white sauce was delicious! I didn?t expect to see thatthis far from Hampton Roads. We WILL be back! Read more

Comfortable and cozy restaurant with great fresh and fast food. Very attentive and friendly staff. Fajita portion was nice and... steak was flavorful and tender. Tortilla chips were warm and crispy, and beer was cold with frosty mugs! I hesitated to tellanyone because some secrets are best kept! Read more

I finally got a chance to visit Mi Jalisco in quaint Urbanna..My friend and his 12 yr old joined me. It's a very colorful place... decor- wise. There's an extensive menu with lunch specials till 3pm. Even the children have a few items they will eat on themenu. The prices are reasonable and maybe the drinks are good ..based on how loud the girls next to us got.! Portions are adecent size and waiters attentive. Good place to fill up after shopping the cozy stores of Urbanna or on the way to thepopular camp grounds just beyond the restaurant . I just revisited this place it was busy and the staff attentive , I thinkthe food was a notch above the usual fare.. not as salty thank God . Dinner combos avail n much more . I'd be ashamed to call myself a Mexican Family Restaurant if I didn't serve horchata. Jalisco doesn't serve horchata. Yes, it's... quaint, affordable, and the service is speedy. Great dipping sauces for the nachos. My shrimp tacos were just OK ... they werelittle more than shrimp rolled in a taco with hard to find tomatoes and a dab of spices.
