Absolutely terrific food! I?m on a rigorous diet but decided to come here for my one weekly cheat meal. Started with their... phenomenal gumbo followed by the catfish jambalaya with bubba shrimp. Everything was excellent and the staff were veryfriendly; especially my server as well as Cajun Ron & Amy. Definitely coming back. FYI Google incorrectly had them listed astemporarily closed. Delicious Cajun food! My friend and I split the Combo for 2 with blackened alligator, shrimp, and Crawfish. It was our first... time trying alligator -- glad we did! Our favorite was the crawfish; it was full of flavor. We only wish the protein portionshad been larger (there was a lot of rice and Jambalaya, so would've been nice to have more shrimp, crawfish, and alligator to gowith it). After a good day at the park we decided to check this place out for my 30th bday. What A gem!! I felt right at home w the... service and the food was exceptional. Loved this restaurant and atmosphere! Cajun Ron comes out to speak with his customers. You can tell her love what he does and... having folks come to enjoy what he makes.. The food was amazing. I can't believe you can get Cajun food this good in the Midwest. We did the 4 different item appetizer and... choose the mild and hot boudin balls. They good but the hot is better and more flavourful. The fried corn was really good andthe alligator was so good I had to get it as part of my main dish. I got the Jamba-2-fay with the crawfish etouffee over thejambalaya with the fried alligator. They have this dipping sauce pictured below that goes great with the alligator.
